if you are making a reprap, with a wades extruder, you need a hobbed bolt and this certainly fits the bill.

I used this in my reprap until I decided to switch to MK7 hobbed pulley for a direct drive extruder upgrade.Would've given this 5 stars if the teeth for the filament were deeper for better grab
