I've purchased previous cases from this company and they have lasted a very long time without breaking up. That's why I wanted to get another one for my new phone. The leather is well sewn and gives good protection to the phone all the way round - front, back & sides. Easy to fit phone into place. Looks good and I'm hoping it'll last the 5 years or so that my previous one did! If you're looking for a folio style cover, I would definately recommend this one.

I bought a green one for my husband and a blue one for me as we both have just had new iphones SE 2020 - we are both very pleased with our cases. These cases are made in lovely nubuck leather and the colours are sophisticated and understated. The phone is held in a clear pliable plastic holder that is glued into the wallet. It is easy to get in and out but it shows no sign of falling out. All the cut outs are in the right place. On/off and vol buttons are pressed through special sections of case - so they are protected and they work fine. The camera also works fine. The case shuts with a magnetic tab that closes nicely and stays closed. There are 3 slots for card inside on the left. I have 2 plastic cards and one business card in mine plus 2 x £20 notes in a section behind. That is enough.....any more and the case would not close properly or become too bulky. As for longevity I have previously reviewed this case under the iphone 8 version which I had for 2 years. I can confirm that it is a very good case which retains both looks and structural integrity - it is still very good. I did once have to glue the corner of the phone holder back into the case where it was coming away, but once done that repair was invisible and I had no problems. I cannot remember what the leather was like on my previous case when new, but it wore down to smooth matt finish that is most pleasing - it improved with age and any marks just seemed to disappear with a rub...so I am assuming that the new ones will be the same. So all in all these are excellent cases and I have no hesitation to recommend. So why have I dropped a star? Well, when I received my new case for the iphone SE 2020 I found it was EXACTLY the same as the one I already had for my iphone 7/8. Therefore I did not need a new case at all, I could have kept the old one and just put my phone in it. I did know that the SE was the same size as the 8 but because the description on Amazon only says it is for an SE 2020 I assumed that there was something I did not know about the cut outs for camera or something. However I find that my new phone would have been absolutely fine in my old case in every way. In the end I decided to keep the new case as it is a different colour etc - but that is really an indulgence and I should have sent it back. I am not sure I would have bought a new one had I known the phone would have been fine in the old one. So I would say Snakehive are a bit naughty advertising theses separately - they should be under the same heading as the iphone 8 etc.

A lovely quality phone case and worth paying a little extra for. Aperture for the camera aligns really well and the clear phone holder grips the phone snugly; its softer more flexible material feels less brittle than other cases I’ve had, so the edges should be less prone to cracking/breaking.The only thing I’d put on my wish list would be the inclusion of a clear screen cover to put on the phone screen to stop cards in the slots marking the screen over time.

Its not a cheap case but is very much a quality case so like all things in life, you pay extra for quality.My only reservation which is not really anything to do with the quality of the case is that wireless charging is more difficult.It does charge through the case but is more difficult than without it and thus the only reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5.To be fair to the manufacturer, i have never wireless charged before so not sure if its a general issue with cases but assume as this one is good quality leather and slightly thicker than the cheaper Imitation fabric one on the market this could well be the reason.

I ordered a Snakehive phone case for my new iPhone after seeing a promotional post on social media with lots of positive comments underneath. After a couple of days’ use I’m very happy so far, the feel of it is very comfortable to hold and it does seem very sturdy. Whether the stitching etc will hold up I’ll have to see in time. To hold the phone in place there is a flexible transparent case which I think should last longer than the stiff plastic supports I’ve had in other cases. The only drawback is that the leather is a little stiff, I’ve put a travel card in one slot and my cardboard vaccination card in another, they were quite difficult to get in and the difference they make in thickness means the clasp shuts slightly less well. I feel like this is something that will perhaps improve over time though as the leather eases.The case came in a nice little box so would be suitable to give as a gift. The box also contained a card offering a free matching keyring - the page where you fill in details didn’t load properly for me but an email to customer services was answered within a couple of hours and my keyring has arrived just 2 days later.

This is expensive in comparison to some, but definitely worth those extra pounds. It is beautifully made, soft to touch, seems very strong and has that lovely smell of leather. It was so well packaged, there was no way it would be damaged in transit. Suits my new phone (and me) perfectly! 😊8

This genuine leather case for my new phone perfectly. It has a great feel to it. There are three slots for cards and there is the ability to use it as a stand too. I am really pleased with the product and highly recommend it. The box and packaging it arrived in made it feel as though I had received a luxurious product, which of course, I have!I think it is always worth investing in a leather case for phones because they look good, last well and age well too.

Lovely iPhone SE 2020 phone wallet. It comes with a cleaning cloth and I’m glad the case is made of rubber so it wouldn’t scratch my phone.
