I was looking for an alternative to the 3000 Trizact for 3M for my headlight restoration process and gave these a try. These worked almost as well as the 3M disc on my pneumatic 3" polisher in terms of the durability and finish but at a much better price. I will definitely be using these again. Going to be ordering the 1500 grit version in my next order.

They seem more like 2000 grit, I have to use 3000 name brand after them. But they work well if you arent picky about the grit accuracy. They dont last long wet sanding plastic.

The sizes are perfect and the grit rating is high enough to polish metals, plastics and even some woods. It's hard to find grit ratings above 1000 and this certainly is. I've used it on metals and plastics and it is really good stuff.

Used these pads on several vehicles to remove light scuffs and scratches. Results in my opinion are very good and don't have to spend a fortune on the preferred brand with the sponge backing, they work great too but as a small business owner and the low frequency of use these sanding pads are my best alternative. I used dry and wet and got great results. Be careful because there do cut faster and could quickly sand to bare primer, especially on older thin paint or clearcoat.I used these only on automotive finishes and can't comment on any other possible uses.

Abrasive surfaces all stuck together. So far have wrecked 4 pads and spent 20 minutes trying to separate the pads which for some reason are shipped as 15 sandwiches of 2 pads each.Ridiculously bad quality control/manufacturing defect. 1/10th the price of the 3M discs and so far about 1/12th the value.

Had an old drill-driven 3M headlight restoration kit, but ran out of this grit. Picked these up to cut down the fine scratches before polishing. Worked as expected

I haven’t used the pads yet, so can’t comment on that. But very frustrating that the pad sanding faces are stuck together. I ripped the backing on the first few pads just trying to pull them apart. Then used my pocket knife to tediously separate them. This is not a packaging or seller issue. I think this is how they are manufactured.

Couldn't use the product as they have GLUED the sandpaper together!
