Do not order this pump. I took my family out fishing this weekend and got stranded in the middle of a huge lake! We were lucky enough to get towed back to the dock. I put my old pump back in and my boat started running again. I am very pissed about that! If i could give it 0 stars i would!

I had purchased one of these about four years ago and it failed at about 1 1/2 years later. After I took it apart I found a small spring at the bottom of the fuel injector bowl. I called the manufacturer and told him of the problem and a day later I had a new pump delivered to my door at no cost to me. The new pump has been in for about 2 1/2 years with no problems. Let's see, $1385 for Yamaha pump or this one with great customer service at $1300 less. I think that is a no brainer for me.

I purchased the product and had it installed. It never worked correctly. Turns out the negative post was lose inside the housing. You could continue to spin the negative post after the post extender was screwed all the way onto the post. This will cost the original labor and the labor to install again. No reflection on the shipper only the manufacturer.
