Kyushu Shinkansen Series 800 `Sakura/Tsubame` (6-Car Set)

There has got to be a fix for this, surely I am not the first person to run into this. I have 4 Kato sets and three of them run really well. This one has an issue where the couplers on the motored car just fall off at the curves. It seems like a part is missing on both ends of the train. Hoping to resolve this someday.

The 800 Series is not my favourite Shinkansen, but this Kato model is superbly done and is what you would expect of a Kato model. This is a full length train, and as usual is excellently packaged in a nice book case.The nose contours are superbly captured, colours excellent and as you would expect performance is very quiet and smooth. Vehicles are close coupled but operate around Unitrack curves.Highly recommended.

800系新幹線のU003編成が再現されたものです。印刷類もさすがKato！！TOMIXの新800系にはない座席表示のシールも付いていてシールを貼るとよりリアルになります。僕は断然Kato派です。

値段や出来からすれば　満足です。

実車をじっくりと見た事はありませんが、全体的にバランス良く出来てると思います。

800系を細かく再現できています。細かいロゴもありますし、印刷も問題ないのでは。（KATOのレベルで見れば）また同じ模型でtomixからも発売されてますが、こちらは印刷技術こそいいもののいい加減なところもあります。（ロゴの省略など）このサイトを見る限り（トミックス　http://www.speedsphere.jp/RailRoad/Shinkansen/Tec800SeriesModelReview02b.aspx）（カトー　http://www.speedsphere.jp/RailRoad/Shinkansen/Tec800SeriesModelReview01b.aspx）どちらも微妙みたいですが、やはり幌の表現、印刷をなんとしてでもやろうとした。がんばろうとする姿はいいと思います。一方トミックスはこれまで良かったところをなくす（これまで印刷できてたロゴを省略したり、連結間隔がリアルな幌付きTSカプラーをただの通電カプラー（幌なし、可動幌もなし）にしたり）で、あんまりいいものと思えません。値段もこちらが安いので、KATO製をお勧めします。走行については、最初、カプラーの動きが鈍く、たいして速度を出してなくてもV15のs字カーブ（半径481mmぐらいであまり過酷では無いです）で脱線。しかも後ろ2両のみ脱線が頻発。　何回か手動で転がして脱線を減らしましたが、テストをしたほうが脱線するかっこ悪い姿を見ないですむと思います。ただこれは個体差があるかもしれないのでこのようなことがあるかもと思っていただければいいと思います。
