I received these gloves and couldn't wait to get them on the grill. I had used silicon mitts with my ribs before but no matter what I did, I could never get a tight enough grip on them and ended up thrashing them with the mitts and a spatula! These gloves make it easy to get in and pick them up, maneuver them around and do what I needed without destroying the racks!Great purchase and next week plan on putting the bear-claws to use with a brisket! Highly recommend!

Holy COW these are great! We are "frequent grillers" during months warm enough so we don't have to freeze our tails off out there, living in the midwest-it's a challenge, but fortunately, we have had very nice weather and we are still grilling out daily, and we smoke and barbecue often. It's kind of a lifestyle for us, so we HAD to try these out.The claws are great for pulling pork, or even chicken! If you can make a bbq pulled meat sandwich with it, they're great for pulling.What really impressed us both, are the barbecue gloves- this is something we don't yet have, and honestly, when the package arrived, we weren't sure what to expect.We use cast iron a lot when doing sides, as well as main dishes. Can you say meatloaf on the grill? Beans?Cornbread?Oh yes, we were surprised to find that you can grab that handle and not even FEEL any heat on your skin, and the gloves hold up--- they don't melt! ( I was seriously concerned, but not even a hint of heat came through!)So, yes, these beauties are ESSENTIAL for those who love to grill, and voila, I also used them today when taking something out of the oven, so they are useful for many other things than outdoor cooking!Everyone should have a set!I received this item at a discount in return for an honest review.

I love these gloves! I was apprehensive on the flexibility with such a thick silicone , but I was wrong these are even a great asset in the kitchen for baking. I used the gloves to take out a hot cookie sheet with no problems at all. We don't eat a lot of pork but did use the meat claws for a smoked brisket my husband made and they are fantastic. The Hadley don't get hot when they're touching the meat and that's a plus!!I recieved this product at a discounted rate for my honest opinion.

great item. Using the claws allows me to pull pork faster than before, and the gloves help me from burning my hands. I have purchased similar items for my sister and parents.
