I used it to mix with acrylic paint and water to paint a pair of wing chairs. Project turned out great, kept the fabric soft and supple to the touch. Instead of sealing with wax I sealed with Scotch Guard and am happy with my new/old chairs. Lots cheaper and easier than recovering the chairs. Also the price was right over the local craft stores.

So much better than I could have imagined
This stuff is AMAZING! I bought it with the intention of painting curtains but have become distracted by painting flowers on all of my old shirts! This is incredibly easy to use, super fun to paint with - the texture is SO easy to manipulate, easier than regular paint by itself - and it does not leave the fabric feeling stiff or crunchy AT ALL. Swoon. I'm in love.

Used with latex paint and I'm pleased
This worked great. I couldn't find a replacement cushion the right size for my love seat patio chair so used this mixed according to directions with latex instead of acrylic. I spray painted another. The cushion I used this product on came out great. No, it's not as soft as original and felt a little tacky for a while, but it's pretty decent. Don't expect it to do a large amount of pieces since it does take quiet a bit of coats. I was painting a baby blue cushion solid black to match my other chair cushions.

I used this textile medium to paint over a rocking/swivel chair, and it took 2 bottles! Left the chair a lot softer than other textile mediums, and the price was a lot lower than similar brands. Definitely recommend.4 stars because the product leaked a little bit in transit - but it didn't lose much so I wasn't concerned about it.

another satisfied customer
I was perfectly satisfied with this product. I used it with a latex paint and painted a couple of upholstered chairs. 1 bottle per quart of paint. I'm very pleased with the my end result, the chairs now look like leather. I saved a ton of money since I didn't have to reposted or buy new furniture.

It definitely DOES stiffen fabric... like medium starch
If you can live with that, then go for it. As for me, I really hoped it wouldn't alter the hand of the fabric. That said, I think my only option is dye rather than paint for my intended purposes.
