Spa Essentials 32324000-04 Tabs Hot Tub Bromine, 4-Pack

This was recommended to use with the Kaboom Toilet cleaner kit (for refills). This is much LARGER than I expected and has many tablets for use. I routinely use lime away or CLR and a scrub stone on my toilet. This will do the job with much less effort!

I ordered these bromine tablets for my hot tub. It took me a few tries to get the exact "dosage" correct in my floating feeder but once I did, this stuff works great. I use my hot tub nearly every night and this product keeps the water clear and clean without any chemical smell. I use with a floating "feeder" that allows you to open or close the feeder vent to get the proper dosage for your hot tub.

These are working fine in my Kaboom toilet cleaner. Up to 3 tablets can fit into the Kaboom at a time.The only negative thing that I could say about it is that it wasn't packaged well. That's probably why some people complain about the state of some of the tablets. On the other hand it's free shipping and mine are fine so I can't really complain that much. If you want to protect yours then consider paying for a better shipping method.

These brominating tablets seen to last longer and provide higher levels than most other brands. I always assumed they were pretty much interchangeable but find these to be the best i have come across.

A friend told me to switch to bromine after having sensitivities to chlorine. In addition to these tablets, we also got the concentrate as I heard the tablets dissolve very slowly. That is true! Needed to use the concentrate crystals for the first few days, and needed to throw about 6 of these tablets in the floatie. After a few days it got up to proper level and has maintained that since. It's been over two weeks and the same six tablets are still dissolving.... and keeping proper chemical levels.

These are working fine in my Kaboom toilet cleaner. Up to 3 tablets can fit into the Kaboom at a time, but I usually only use two at a time and that cleans/prevents black mold from building up for at least a month at a time. Much better for refills than Kaboom, minimal chlorine odor and keeps my toilet clean and fresh with no scrubbing ever. Happy with that, and will purchase the product again when I run out.

I may change this review upon further use. They came in good shape, but dissolve very slow to the point where only 1 is ineffective for a hot tub. We put in a second one to see if it helps, but 1 is clearly not enough because the hot tub is starting to get slimy. I’ve read other reviews that some people had to use many to get results, I just wish it was noted somewhere in the product description or instructions
