VCM Shelf Cabinet Furniture Storage Unit Bookcase CD DVD Archiving System for 204 CDs Wood Red "Bigol"

I've bought 3 of these. I really liked the first one, not too expensive and does what you need it to do. I wanted to store more CDs so I thought I would buy two more and make it look like a larger cabinet so I went into my history, chose 'purchase again' and changed the quantity to 2.They arrived and I began to assemble them. The first of the two went up fine, identical to the previous one as expected. The second one seemed different... the way it was put together was different with different fixings (plastic dowels not screws), then I noticed the colour was slightly different, more mahogany than walnut, then I noticed there was a kind of woodgrain texture not on the others and all of this I could have lived with, HOWEVER, once constructed the unit is 3cm taller than the others! The shelves are spaced differently and in no way is this the same unit. Who has the time to put something like this together and then take it apart again to send it back - not me. So I'm left with an uneven 'unit' reminding me everytime I go for a CD, that if something is not the same I need to stop and send it back immediately rather than make do.

This is not high-end furniture, people, but a reasonably accurately cut set of chipboard planks covered in a plastic artificial 'wood' finish. As such it screws together reasonable easily and does the job. My unit came without instructions but if you are reasonably DIY proficient it is fairly simple to work out. The box contains two units of approx. 91cm tall, which are screwed together. The fittings are provided but you will need a 5mm drill.If, like me, you want this to store standard DVDs then once completed you have 8 shelves, each of which can easily take 12 standard DVD cases. This leaves four shelf panels spare. You will not want to sit and look at it for very long, but sited somewhere discreet it will be fine.

The product delivered to me was very poor quality. There were several ‘chips’ to the body of the product and the shelves themselves. The fittings were incomplete with both the tacks and screw covers.It is intended that the two separate units are stacked on top of each other, but to achieve this the customer needs to drill their own holes.The units look better when they are stacked with dvds but overall they are of a cheap appearance, poor quality and overpriced.I would not recommend or buy again.

This isn't a single unit it's two small units screwed together which you have to drill yourself to fasten them together not supplied with enough panel pins for the back 15 instead of 48 all the accessories were just in an open bag shoved into the packaging not enough screw covers all in all shoddy is the only way to describe the whole thing . Advertisement picture is also a lie as it shows you can lie DVDs flat but it's not wide enough in reality if it wasn't such a pain to send it back at the moment due to COVID-19 they would be getting it back

Item is very dark wood, so picture can be a little deceiving, but fits our lounge well. It's actually 2 units which can be stacked one ontop of the other. Looks a bit unstable when empty & but once stacked it evens out. Geat to have all our cd's accessible now, rather than hidden away. Looks great once CD's are stacked.

It is not one tall unit when put together as shown. Parts missing, wood chipped. Very disappointed, please refund

This piece of furniture came with no holes to connect the two pieces together and also came missing part of the back! Didn’t send it back as I needed it there and then, so My Husband has to go out and buy a piece for the back of it and improvise on joining it together. Disappointed.
