Hi-Tec C Coleto Gel Ink Pen Cartridge 0.3mm 15-Set One of Each Color Ships from California by Pilot

I finally succumbed to temptation and bought a Coleto five-chamber pen at Kinokuniya, along with a few inks. I knew refills would be cheaper on Amazon, so I bought this set.I like being able to quickly switch inks when taking notes. The problem is that most multicolor pens 🖊 either don't have refills, or you have to hunt for refills that will fit, and take the pen apart to refill it. So instead of having 3-5 colors on hand at all times, you're left with a pen that has only your least used color remaining.Coleto multicolor pens have been around for about thirty years, and are growing in popularity, so it's a safe bet that I'll always be able to get refills. It's so much less waste for the landfill, when I'm able to simply replace the ink cartridge instead of the entire pen.The inks are great. No skipping, etc. I keep a few cartridges in my pen case in case one in my pen runs out.I even bought a Coleto five-cartridge pen for my niece, with the pencil, eraser, and three color cartridges, so that she'll have everything required for school in one unit, with room to include a "fun" color or two for passing notes LOL. (My inner 12-year-old loves my Coletos, so I knew my niece had to have one.)

For people just getting into the world of japanese stationary, one thing you need to figure out is pen size. It starts with these 3 main common sizes 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 and if you're not sure witch is comfortable for you always start with a 0.4mm pen tip size, to get the feel of it. Its great for people with small handwriting or somewhat medium. Also great for those people with a combination of print and cursive handwriting.

This is a set of 0.3mm tip pen cartridges for the Hi-Tec C Coleto multi-pen. This set comes with 15 different colors - Black, Navy, Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Sky Blue, Pink, Orange, Magenta, Red, Green, Hunter Green, Yellow, Yellow-Orange(Dandelion-ish), and Brown. I love the fine point of the 0.3mm but it sometimes does feel like you're scratching the paper while you are writing. I have tried 0.4mm tips and still prefer the 0.3mm tips. I have also started using smaller tips for my mechanical pencils because of the fine points. This allows for more precision while writing and allows smaller writing to fit more things onto a sheet or page of paper which is especially helpful for note taking during classes especially math classes with its sub and super scripts along with fractions.

Perhaps they should have suggested, oh by the way, you may want to buy a barrel or 15! I was very surprised when all I got was the inside of a pen. Maybe send one outside complimentary???

Love the extra fine tip of the .03! Helps keep my writing small. TN essential

If you write a lot, expect to get more of these often!! They write smoothly and the colors are great!

PERFECT!!!! I need a really fine tipped pen & this is it!!!!

These are my favorite go-to ultra fine point pens but several in this batch are really spotty and some don't write at all. When you want all the colors and some don't work you end up having to replace individual refills or start over. Usually great...not this time.
