Very obvious that these guys are podcasters no writers. Prose is mediocre and generally stilted. Illustrations are fantastic. This isn’t the worst book ever but it’s not well written and it’s fairly uninformative for those already versed in true crime. Very much a general overlay of a few heavy hitters. Worth buying for the awesome illustrations and I do like the podcast but hope for better writing in the future

This book will teach me so many things I can use to terrorize my friends with while going stag to summer weddings. So many new conversation topics and tidbits of information while practicing my knots. Something I can use in teaching the children of tomorrow, today.A masterpiece that dwarfs those of LRH and glistens with the sacred teachings of our LastPod masters.Also very well drawn illustrations and layouts. Well worded and delightful. Must read in every book club.

I ordered this book the moment it became available, it felt like forever, but it finally made it!It's a fantastic tome of true crime knowledge, illustrated excellently, and quite funny to boot.I've already burned through a hundred pages of it in one sitting. Let's just say that the humor is a good tension breaker from THE SHEER UNADULTERATED HORROR, that is contained here within.If you enjoy some humorous terror, dripping with heavily researched information THIS IS THE BOOK... THE LAST BOOK FOR YOU!

Written by three people. One, the actual writer and two, the dimwits who think their adolescent commentary is funny. Think Beevis and Butthead. Ex. Bundy’s stepfather, Mr Culpepper, had a blue collar job and he and his stepson never bonded. Commentary.....in your best Butthead voice.....it would be hard to bond with someone with ‘pepper’ in their name......heh heh heh

Well done, lads. The book is gorgeous! I'm impressed by the quality of the book, the illustrations, and how you've woven in Ben and Henry's comments. Marcus, as always, presents the well-researched story of each character. If you're a fan of LPOTL, or just a true-crime follower then you must buy this book. Thanks to Amazon for getting this to me on release day even in the midst of the pandemic! Triple L's.

I am already obsessed with this book. It's so much larger and thicker than I was expecting, with glossy pages and glorious illustrations! It's written exactly in the style of their podcast, with interjections from Henry and Ben peppered throughout the info. I could not recommend this book enough! The info is top notch, as per usual. I ordered this book recently even though I'm supposed to get a signed copy at their book tour because I couldn't risk waiting even one extra day before I had this bad boy in my hands! Couldn't be more excited. BUY THIS BOOK!!!!

Though the subject matter may not be entirely novel for true crime fans, the eminently readable and flawlessly researched style of this book makes it un-put-down-able.

Amazing product, bought it for my husband as a birthday gift and he was ecstatic. He has listened to the podcast for a long time and is very happy with the book. Super awesome art work as well.
