Salty DogSea Salt Crisps, Share bag 8 x 150 g

Very, very nice crisps indeed. I put three different varieties of this brand on a subscribe and save, thinking I would stash them for Christmas; this ready salted variety I'm reviewing, the ham and mustard, and the smaller packs of sweet chilli. Once my family got hold of the sweet chilli they were all(!) eaten in no time. That flavour is by far the best rendition of sweet chilli that any of us have ever tasted (packs a slight punch too). The ham and mustard are equally amazing and really do taste of true mustard, very flavourful.This, the plain salted version, demonstrate this manufacturers ability to do crisps well! They're delicious in their unadulterated form and amongst the best plain crisps you could buy. More-ish isn't the word! I also like that they are skin on but really, you wouldn't know by taste. Usually the skinned crisps have an altered taste (detrimentally so), but these don't, unless it's what makes this particular crisp taste even better. It could be their secret process!In case you're wondering, I did manage to stash some of these crisps but I can't see them lasting long at Christmas. They're a real treat.

These are hand-cooked crisps and were absolutely fine. Personally I found them to be very tough as crisps go similar to kettle crisps. If you like that brand these are just as good. The crunchiness was a bit too much for me so I doubt I'd order them again; but hey, if you really like super crunchy crisps, go for it!!

Salty Dog crisps are THE finest crisps in the world. The Top Dog of the crisps industry. Lovingly grown, lovingly flavoured, lovingly packed and rediculously moreish!!! You, your taste buds, and your mind will be blown! No other crisp comes close to Salty Dog's crisps!

I love these crisps and had re-ordered the 8 pack box;- theyarrived this evening and the box contained only one bag! - costing £14.50! Please can you sort this and order another 8 pack? Many thanks.

I like Salty Dog crisps. You don't find them everywhere. They are very tasty and salty.These crisps were neither of those things.Are they rejects being resold?They are described as being cooked in sunflower oil, but these packets have an added note where the date goes saying cooked in rapeseed oil. Consequently, they are slightly chewy rather than crunchy and they had less salty than most other lightly salted crisps.I bought a big box for a party. It was disappointing as I found out they were not great just before.I won't choose this brand again.

Not a bad texture but they taste like meaty dog biscuits.

Love them! We have bought them at least 4 times!! Great flavour and texture, the only issue is that you won't stop eating them!!

Crisps taste alright but they are very gritty which is a bit off putting wouldn't purchase again...
