I like the price Amazon sells them for. Every once in a while you come across one that strips, but for the most part no problems.

The Hardest to Strip

I used to think normal "wood" screws would be ok for most projects. After multiple issues I started looking into better options. These things are pretty solid, shouldn't have trouble with weather, and won't break off or strip under normal use. I didn't bother with pilot holes in a fence and it worked fine. Inside I used pilot holes and countersink, looks great and I feel good about them holding as long as needed, plus being easy to remove if required down the line. If you're shopping for these you probably realize how weak those cheapy wood screws from the hardware store can be, what they do to wood after a few years, and how much trouble you can have removing them.

Great stainless steel gripper screws for the application I needed. I was ordering other things from Amazon so I added these to my order. I found the exact items at a Big Box for the same price without the wait for shipping. Good thing since I needed more than I ordered from Amazon. These were used for an outdoor installation with some water contact. Looks like they will hold up.

Best screws I have ever worked with! I used these screws to replace the rusted deck screws on my 20' X 12' Spa deck. The original deck screws were purchased from Home Depot and were far inferior to the Grip Rite Prime Stainless Steel screws. I replaced hundreds of screws with the Grip Rite Prime Stainless Steel screws and not a single one broke or stripped. Love these screws.

Extraordinarily cheap screws, like most things Grip Rite that I've purchased recently. How so you wonder? Unintentional jagged edges on the threads, really short self tapping groove like 1/8" shorter than the Chenango Stainless screws, no self tapping nibs for countersink, bugle shaped head while not showing that in the picture nor telling that in the product title, nearly impossible to find the fact that these are bugle head on the box, only in one spot in fine print, nowhere on the label where the screw details are listed.

Prompt shipment, well packaged. Items arrived in good condition. Good quality product, hard to find in local stores in this length. Bill
