Office Hippo Heavy Duty Rectangular Cantilever Office Desk, Home Office Desk, Office Table, Integrated Cable Ports, PC Desk For Office or Home, 5 Yr Wty - White Frame/Beech Top, 160cm x 80cm

Like most of you I am now WFH which doesn’t look like it will end soon so I decided to invest in a bigger desk. In trough I would like to have a 70cm depth but all I can find is 60cm which is what I had then it jumps to 80cm. There is more then enough for two” monitors and space for me to write too which is what I was lacking. It took 15 minutes to put together which is quick, the table though has lots of different holes which can be confusing but the legs will only slot into one set. The delivery was quick, two days from order however it did come on a massive pallet and they wouldn’t take it away. Now in lockdown I have had to spend 40 minutes (25 longer then it took to set the desk up) to smash up the pallet so I could store it until the sort it centres reopens. I have scored it a full 5 stars however I do have something which is more related to me and that’s the cable tidy. I would have liked them further back as my cables are more visible going into them. I like the privacy board being so far back as it allows my current unit to fit. The dimensions to the back plate is 69cm and its 71cm to the underside of the desk for anyone else who wants to add their unit.

Got numerous delivery dates then had to find an email that auto marked as spam/junk mail to choose a date. Delivery people delivered it to the wrong house and said I wasn't in even though I waited the morning on a workday.30 mins with poor customer service and reschedule another week. Booking delivery is 4-5 minimum.2nd delivery they got lost and phoned 3 times for directions. Assume they don't use a tracking system. The barcode was missing so they said it would be returned again. Then decided to just leave it saying I should call if something is missing.Delivery service is just not worth the hassle.Desk was easy to put together and is actually really nice. Instructions were for the wrong model but simple. Shame about the delivery service issues.

Just received this desk this morning and I love it, perfect for what I needed, I currently have two 24" monitors on there with room to add another one which I plan to do, I have to prop one of my monitors up with disc cases as the stand it broke so that takes up even more room. The desk came in two parts, the desk top and the legs come in two different packages. Every screw fit perfectly, it's extremely sturdy and was very easy to build. Even having only had it for a short amount of time I would deffinitley recommend this desk!

I wanted a traditional shaped desk to replace a very large corner desk that I have been using for some years but found it occupied too much space. I was always pleased with the quality of the other desk and so bought this version from the same manufacturer. Assembly is very easy - although be aware this is a heavy product. Plenty of room for whatever you intend using it for (I have two very large computer monitors on mine, plus speakers and accessories).I have given this a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star for one reason only - the modesty panel at the back is affixed to the first section of the side legs when it should have been affixed to the rear section to allow for more leg room under the desk. I found this to be a quite strange position for a modesty panel and there was no fault in the drilled holes either.Strong, stable, will last years and is very easy to clean.

ordered this desk as it seemed to be a large space to work on , the desk only has a small number of parts and you may need another person to assemble it due to the size and weight - once assembled it is easy to move and looks good too . one minor point you may need to know was my desk was delivered by the pallet company and it did indeed arrive on a huge wood pallet which was going to be left behind with the desk ! after some insistence the driver agreed to take the pallet back thankfully .

working from home during the crisis I needed a "proper" desk albeit potentially only temporary.So for less than £160 this looked just the job but my expectations weren't really high.It arrived quickly - was easy to assemble - and surprisingly heavy - which means that when assembled I have a really sturdy desk. OK so some of the welds on the legs aren't perfect but the desk surface is a very nice quality beech effect.Overall then this is a sturdy nice looking desk which does the job and is tremendous value.

fabulous looking desk, easy to put up!( I completed it alone in about 15mins)Very strong, perfect.However, again like everyone else the delivery service is poor. The delivery guy was great and very polite. However the item came on a huge pallet and apparently the whole thing had to be delivered which meant the pallet had to be disposed of after. Which a problem for me as I had a skip but it’s a bit of a pain.. Lastly, I wouldn’t rely too much on the date of delivery.. I would say I ordered it last Friday and I got it yesterday

Absolutely impressed with the quality of this desk. Packaged beautifully in easy to carry parts (came in 3 pieces). Easy to put together. Simple instructions. Wooden top of great quality, very sturdy with metal legs, also excellent quality. Depth is adequate for all levels of study and great for those who use lots of books, plenty of room.A clear desk looks clean and bright. More than adequate with excellent use of 2 desk portals on the desktop for easy cable storage following through to the back panel for easy use of feeding plugs. Very pleased with the purchase. Quality assured.
