Glaring Through Oblivion Hardcover – March 22, 2011

Updated review: Seller communication was wonderful and they refunded purchase price and shipping.Very disappointed when this book arrived to see that the exterior hardcover was bound to the interior pages upside down. While the content is the same, I bought this as a gift and I feel that the flaw should have been mentioned and the price adjusted accordingly.

I've only read the first 3 poems. I've decided it's gonna be a thing where every day I read one poem. I especially like "The Hand". I should also mention that I am definitely biased because I love Serj Tankian/ SOAD and I can't believe It took me this long to buy this book.

This is one of my favorite books of poetry. This book gives you a look into Serj's strange, but brilliant mind. Regardless of whether you are a fan of SOAD, you can appreciate his idiosyncratic perspective on politics and life.

Still reading the book, but having im enjoying the poems Serj created. A must item if you're a fan.

Serj Tankian is a great singer, but it's difficult to say everything you want to say through songs and still make it clear and understandable while having a song that sounds good. Through poetry, however, Serj has the freedom to write whatever he wants however he wants and he does a great job. I love reading his deep thoughts and seeing the world through his eyes. Furthermore, the illustrations in this book(Roger Kupelian) are absolutely beautiful and truly add to the book. I highly recommend this book!

Serj Tankian is a great man, he is smart, intelligent and talented. I love all his music and poems. He is sometimes a little bit abstract, making difficult to his poem translation, and interpretation, but I don't expect anything else from him. :)I recommend this book to everyone.

It’s on my coffee table. Very cool poems and beautiful pictures.

Purchased as a gift. This hardcover book of poetry is beautifully illustrated with amazing colour, glossy artwork - that goes for the cover too. I know that the recipient, a big fan, will be over the moon with it.

Un libro molto interessante , da leggere e da guardare i disegni

Came in perfect condition. Many of these poems inspired songs on "Imperfect Harmonies" and "Harakiri" and it's really interesting to read Serj's poetry.

Wonderful book, in every detail. It's impressive for the magnificent illustrations and obviously for the poems. I love Serj, poetry and art. Recommended for all art lovers ;)

Habe mir dieses Buch gekauft, da ich ein Fan von Serj Tankians Musik bin. Dieses Buch mit Gedichten zeigt noch deutlicher, wie viel Poesie in ihm steckt. Teilweise sehr kurze Gedichte, jedoch mit klarer Aussage, die zum nachdenken anregen.
