It says it's for the P3A and P3P only, as I have the standard wasn't sure it was going to work right even though there's some comments that say it does. So here's the facts, yes it will go right on the standard with only one issue. If you aim your camera straight down it comes into view. So you need to do a small, quick mod to it. Using a tool you need to notch a very small spot on either end of this item so it fits closer to the rear of the craft just another inch. It comes with two notches on either end already, you're just added one more.

Don't really see what this protects besides maybe some grass from hitting the lens or landing on rocks, but If you were to crash or fall from 10ft or higher I don't think it would do you much good. It does however, come in handy for hauling beer to the neighbors with some line and carabineer from the center holes.

The guard fits well, but if you want to use extended landing gear, you can't use both. That was a disappointment.

Works as described. Very easy to install. Would have given 5 stars had the guard been a little stiffer. However, this COULD BE a positive given certain circumstances.

The product itself is built well. I have been flying for over a year when my Phantom 3 pro decided it was randomly going to fly away after hitting return home. It crashed in a tree with gimbal guard on. It came tumbling down. Two props were broke. One led lense cover off and yaw arm broke on the gimbal. Which it was exactly what was suppose to be protected. I do think it did protect landing arms, but that was about it.

Have to hold it smashed down when you turn on the unit or the gimbaled camera hits it.

I had to trim it to fit the DJI phantom 3 standard but looks to be a quality product.

Good product for the cost
