Metal Detal (Fully Waterproof)

I thought about buying a Garrett Carrot, but this out-performs it in most cases. I do have dubious thoughts about how truly waterproof it is, but for most of my terrestrial work, it does the job with flying colors. There's also a myriad of hacks out there for this device. Get one. Have fun.

Works great, as you can see in the photo ive definitely used it, and it found many items its first day out. Comes with a sturdy belt holster, the bungee clip feels a little cheap but has held up well so far. Also comes with a zip bag type cover to fully submerge it without concerns of water leaking in. Comes with 9v battery, and battery cover has o-ring seal on it. Vibrates and has loud audible beep when it detects metal, the beep pulses faster and faster the closer you are to the metal object.

I wouldn't buy this again, lots of false readings, then when it detects real metal it sticks on and wont quit sounding, until the beeper stopped working completely,. Also only waterproof for 3 inches up the probe. Very miss leading ad showing a diver using this.

Took it out the day I got and work pretty good. I'm new to detecting and this would detect about an inch into the ground. The side holster is very nice. Haven't used the waterproof pouch. Overall I like it and it's great for beginners like me not wanting to spend hundreds

Detector works well as long as you are looking for something very close to the surface. If it is deeper than an inch or so, this may wave right over it.

This mini metal detector really works,Very easy to use; just turn it on and place it to any solid surface. When it detects anything in metal form, it will vibrate and beep. The sensor is extremely sensitive when place on any metal surface. This is definitely a good thing that comes in a small package, a decent device for a decent price.

I bought this pinpointer as I am starting to do metal detecting. I liked the fact that it was not expensive but I guess you get what you pay for. This pinpointer worked great the first day I used it in my neighborhood park but the second day by the end of my finds suddenly it turned off. I thought it was the battery and proceeded to replace it but with no luck. I tried 3 different new batteries I got and it did not turn back on. I do not recommend it.

I have had a full sized metal detector for many years.one thing I never liked about it was that they will point you in a general area but then it becomes a task to figure out EXACTLY where your target is. This little pointer brings you much closer. There is a technique described in the instructions for narrowing the search which works unbelievably well. No more having to sift quantities of soil or oversized holes that have to be refilled etc. if you do ANY metal detecting or need to locate metals within simple structures, GET ONE OF THESE.
