I am new to maca and its uses and have been pleasantly surprised by its slightly sweet, almost spicy taste. This little book is an ideal introduction to an unusual ingredient and I can recommend it. My current favourite way of taking maca is to mix a teaspoon of it with a heaped tablespoon of raw chocolate powder and add hot water for a wonderful chocolate drink.
