Fits a 1988-1999 Chevy or GMC C/K truck
I bought this for a 1994 GMC K3500 and it worked perfectly. There are two kinds of weatherstripping on the doors of these trucks. There is some that runs the entire circumference of the door opening (this is not the weatherstripping for that area) and there is a line that runs the length of the upper door opening, which is where this product was installed. It attaches correctly and it's the right thickness to make a good seal.

Works Great, Holds Tight!
I installed this on my tonneau roll-up cover. It grips the metal cover plate well and does not shift at all when rolling the cover back and forth. Seems like it should be a much better water-tight solution than the previous brush seal that came installed. Excellent for my application!

I'll have to modify it to work for my application.
It seems very well made and heavy duty. I bought this for the B pillar on my 2006 Jeep Liberty to seal between the trailing edge of the front door and leading edge of the back door but it's too thick and lifts the upper edge of the front door. I'm getting to figure out how to do that. The mount is solid by attaching to a flange on the rear door leading edge. I'm thinking to cut the flap loose that actual seals the gap reduce the high when the doors are closed. I think I'll add some contact adhesive so I won't lose this one because the original seal fell off as it was on the passenger side. It's way less expensive than from Mopar.

Not suited for Chrysler trunk weather seal
On Amazon, I searched for a weather stripping for a Chrysler trunk lid. This product came up as an option. I purchased it and installed it on my 2011 Chrysler. The strip lack the height to properly seal the trunk. I now get small amounts or water in trunk from rain or trips through the carwash. It apears that this weather strip would work on my car doors, it does not work for my intended application (car trunk). I have now ordered the Mopar (Chrysler) weather stripping from a dealer and will replace it once it arrives.

Doesn’t work for Nissan Sentra
I had bought this intending to use it to replace the weather stripping on my 2010 Nissan Sentra, however when I received it and looked at it in the packaging, it didn’t seem like it had the specific grooves I needed. I also didn’t see any snaps to snap it into my door. I think for just basic weather stripping this would work fine. My car has too many details in the stripping.
