I have never subscribed to the idea of "better health through chemistry," doctors and pharmaceutical companies work so hard to foist upon the American public, instead seeking to "cure" the root cause of the issue if possible and to treat with natural supplements and homeopathic remedies as appropriate. Despite being able to stay clear of narcotic pain medications to deal with chronic pain from serious, permanent injuries sustained while a passenger through 4 major motor vehicle accidents I had relented and agreed to the use of prescription NSAID for twelve years. If you follow the research on these you will understand how I came to fear popping those pills looking at each with the question, "will this be the one that kills me with a heart attack or stroke or worse, leaves me even more impaired than I am now?" I finally reached the point I just could not swallow those pills, which lead me to discovering Turmeric and Resveritol, two natural, yet powerful anti-inflammatories. Instead of taking prescription NSADS 3 or 4 times a day and being scared to death about it, now I take 1 Resveritol in the morning and at night with that round of supplements and two Turmeric with my lunch round. I have to say this protocol has worked as well if not better than the scary NSAIDS for over a year now.

I heard about Turmeric helping with joint pain. I looked on Amazon and found many products. I read all the reviews. I bought three different brands. This was one of them. I loved the reviews. I believe people benefited from this products, although it did not help everyone. It not only did not help me, it caused me to get extremely painful Charley Horses, or cramps in the back of my calves. I cannot tell you how painful they were. I took a bunch of magnesium and potassium to counteract the effects--but it took 12 hours for the pain to dissipate. I thought that maybe I had been wrong about this product causing the leg cramps--so painful that I could not walk. I took this product again three days later and for 2nd time I woke up in agony--cramps so bad in my right calf that I could not move it without feeling I was in torture. I took the other brands instead--no such problem.. I didn't want to think I wasted all this money on buying two bottle of this brand--so two weeks later, like a dummy, I took one pill of the brand and that night woke up in such pain from the right leg cramp that I swore I'd never take these capsules again--and I haven't. The 3rd time the cramps came, they did not go away for a day. I could not walk at all. I don't know what is in them that is caused this pain. I am confused but unwilling to experiment further. I loved the reviews of others who gave this brand 5 stars. I don't know why they affected me this way and not them. Different body chemistry? I don't know. I have taken turmeric made by the other two brand--more than 750 mg at a time with very good effects. It is confusing. I hope those of you who buy this brand get the same good results as the 5 star folks.

I haven't received yet but it is a regular purchase that helps most days with body aches and pains from fibromyalgia.I would surely suggest it but keep in mind every person is different and this might not reduce any pain.Early mornings and evenings I take 3 Tumeric, 2 Aleve, 1 neurontin for all my fibromyalgia issues along with my blood pressure, cholesterol, Claritin and multi vitamin.

This is my 2nd purchase of this product. I attribute the ease of discomfort in arthritics knees to it's effect on inflammation, which is the reason it was purchased. In my country the root is used principally for 'cleansing' your insides. I did not want to have my hands yellow all the time so I chose capsules. A side benefit was the reduction in size of a small cyst I have had for many years. I have encouraged two others to try it.

I find that turmeric does help with minor arthritis-type pain in my hands. I started taking it a few years ago, and forgot why. Then I ran across the article that had suggested turmeric and realized my hands were quite a bit better. When I ran out for a couple of weeks, they got worse again. It's not a miracle, but it helps noticeably. I feel better about taking this everyday than taking daily painkillers.

I buy this again and again for inflammation. I can tell when I don't take it. I have tried the version with pepper but this works better for me.

I have been taking this product for about three years, and I noticed that I felt noticeably better after starting it. I do recommend it to others.

Seems to be the best price for this by far. Research says that long-term benefits are good for lots of things, but only time will tell. Would like to see an organic version, but the more expensive ones are not organic either so this is a great choice.
