With this being mains powered and not usb like most humidifiers it has a fair amount of wind speed for a small device , on first nights use I put 100ml of distiled water in the tank and topped up with ice cubte I made from distilled water and this ran all night on power setting 2 of 3 , night light is a nice feature plus the addition of 2 or 4 hour timer.Tip for anyone buying this is to avoid using tap water and use distilled water which is inexpensive to buy , this complety eliminated the horrible black mould when using normal tapnwater ,also do not add any oils to the tank , we put a few drops of lavender essential oil onto cotton wool and push between one of the louvers.

I found this 3 in 1 mini fan. It included the air cooler, fan and mist humidifier. Not only can i use it for summer, I can use it for four seasons. You can a set a timer for the cooler. The lovely led light changes colour every second. My daughter very loves it. I highly recommend this air cooler.

My son's room gets very hot during summer so I decided to buy this fan for him. Have been using it for a week and it works very well. There is a compartment to put cold water/ice cube which cools down the room quickly. It has an inbuilt timer which help to save energy when you sleep at night. It also has changeable colour light within the water compartment which amuses my son very much!I also have been using it when cooking in the kitchen as it can get very hot there. Its compact size means it doesn't occupy too much space in the kitchen which is ideal!

I’ve not been that impressed sadly. I bought the fan as a result of reading the 5 star reviews. However, I was surprised when I first used the fan and I’m still surprised by so many 5 star reviews. I have found the fan to have very little strength, in fact when it’s on full I need to have my face close up to feel the benefit. I’ve even put ice with the water but my fan just doesn’t make a difference. I’m still surprised at so many positive reviews (and I rarely make a negative review). I feelVery disappointed for the price of this and it feels very cheap despite the cost. I get more wind from my £10 handheld fan :(

If this was only labelled as a desk fan, I'd probably have given it five stars. As is, I find all the five star reviews somewhat baffling. This thing wont cool down a room. If that's what you're buying it for, don't. It obviously can't ever do that. It's a desk fan that mists water. Sure, that will technically humidify a room, very slowly, if that's a thing you want, but in a cramped office just big enough for two people with the door closed, it made basically no difference. If anything it just made things more humid and thus worse. You'd have to have it on your desk pointed right at you to feel any effect. Because it's a desk fan.It's easy to use, the lights are nice, it feels a little flimsy in a way that I wouldn't fault it for, its basically a quality product. It's just not in any way a portable air conditioner. You absolutely cannot expect it to do anything than cool down one person sitting right next to it.

I feel like this is very expensive for what it is. I bought this as a fan to go on my desk. I can't feel it at all if I'm more than a meter away. The highest setting is pretty loud and you're probably gonna wanna use that if it's hot. Filling it with cold water can be a pain and doesn't make a huge difference.EDIT: With it being even hotter lately, I can safely say this thing is pretty much useless and I regret buying it.

i used this last night as the weather suddenly got very warm and it was soo soo hot in my bedroom, i set this up in under a minute, dropped some ice cubes in the bottom with some water and within minutes you could really feel the difference in the whole room, the fan part was an instant cooling effect right next to my bed, made sleeping last night much nicer, i want one for every room now, but since its portable i can move it room to room with me, it wont cool your whole house but for a single room its fantastic!!

Only tested it out briefly on a somewhat warm day and it did seem to give out cooler air - I presume as long as you keep the water cold with ice then it will keep pumping out cool air. The only improvement I could suggest is a more bigger fan/powerful fan as it was more noisy than powerful but it did cool the room somewhat! 4/5 stars.
