THE BEST !!!
Ok, I'm a bloke of 47 and have been seriously exercising for 8 months, the first 5 of those using the Nintendo Wii with EA Sports Active, which by the way is excellent. Of those 5 months I still ate pretty awful food so didn't lose any weight but didn't put any on either. After those 5 months i discovered workout DVD's. I now have 16 and absolutely love it. I've started eating healthily and over the last 3 months have gone from 13 stone 12 pounds to 12 stone 1 pound. The first two times i did Nell's Maximum Impact I couldn't get through it. Now I can and it's absolutely fantastic in every way. I feel fairly worked out with other DVD's but with this one I feel completely and thoroughly worked out to the extreme. I've got all her other DVD's but this one is certainly the best as it's more varied than the others, has a better setting (at the side of an outdoor swimming pool) and they all look like they're enjoying it as well. It's very hard work and not for the faint hearted, though I must say that even for you folk, you will do it after a few tries if you do just 10 mins to start then 20 next time and so on.There's a lot of running on the spot whilst exercising your arms at the same time, some boxing, squats etc plus a weights section and an abs section. If you like cardio then I can safely say you will love this as it's the most high intensity DVD out there and I've got most of them including Davina (also superb but in a different way), Biggest Loser ( also superb though just slightly lighter) etc.Get Maximum Impact and you defo will feel toned and fit after just a few short weeks - yes really.

Would sut beginners and intermediate
Find this rather good and enjoyable. Good for beginners as it is not constant cardio for the 40 min cardio workout. Its a mix of on the spot cardio, so you don't need much room and interspersed with some boxing moves so gives you a chance to catch your breath. Some thigh work also. The resistance section I think could have been bit more challenging but unless you are used to a lot of weights work you still feel it, especially after the 40 minute cardio routine where the arms are involved. Floor section, not too long, could have been a little more I think but good butt workout. Overall, really good one for beginners and intermediate, advanced I think would find it not much of a challenge. Suited me as I tend overall to do toning DVDs rather than cardio, so this was a good one to start with. Also find it enjoyable, doesn't feel like just over an hour.Works out at 10 min warm up, bout 40 min cardio and bout 15 min give or take floor section including cool down.

My fav workout DVD
Love this DVD. It's the 3rd one of purchased over many years. I either lose them or my siblings steal them from me.The workout is moderate in my opinion. I used it first time round to lose half a stone and that's exactly what happened. I did the dvd about 3-4 times a week to get those results. After the warm up there is about 40 mins of interval training that incorporates boxing moves and a lot of squats. Followed by a 10 min arm work out and ends with floor workout focusing on abs via sit-ups and the butt. It's a long DVD if you do all sections (which I always do) but it does work.I've just had a baby and so I'm using the workout to ease myself back Into exercise before I move onto Beachbody T25 followed by Insanity training.

Basic but great at blasting off fat and toning up
This was the first DVD of Nell McAndrew's I bought. I'd just had my baby and weighed in at 18 stone and was in a hurry to lose the weight, this DVD did not disappoint me and although it is slightly repetitive it did the job in six months (along with healthy eating and doing DVD 4 times a week, baby slept loads!) I lost six stone in all in as many months. Sweat, sweat! I bought Nell's other DVD which was the ultimate challenge as I liked the no frills, no nonsense coach's attitude, but felt it really dragged on and although there were "bail out" sections, just seemed slightly long and similar in movement anyway, love the arm tone up sections of Maximum Impact and the boxing, and it feels like just the right length of time, would recommend this to anyone, Nell is really fit too, way stronger than she looks!

Nell Mcandrews Maximum Impact
This is a great cardio workout, combines easy to follow moves with resistance and strength training to burn and tone. Nell's Ultimate Challenge workout is good, but I prefer this one, as it includes intervals of some less intensive moves (boxing), whilst still on the go, instead of going virtually flat out for the whole session. Some good dance tracks playing to motivate & keep you going too. The only thing I did find a bit distracting was the guy on Nell's left - he's way off key and seems to follow the basic moves in a really abnormal way! That aside, this a great workout, forget going to the gym, a couple of Nell's dvd's are all you (actually I!) really need.
