1950s Sparkle Vinyl Chrome Diner Chair - Set of Two - Waterfall Seat

I've had an authentic 1950s chrome dinette set for years. It's my favorite thing. The chairs always had a couple of cracks in the vinyl, but introducing two kids into the mix completely destroyed them. I tried to get them re-upholstered, but it's very difficult to find anyone to do that kind of work anymore. (My chairs had dozens of chrome rivets and a vinyl stamped pattern) When I saw the price on these, I finally gave in and bought new. I got two sets of two; four chairs total.They are great. In great shape; they appear very well made, very solid when you sit on them. The seat bottom is cushy and thick. The only thing that I'd like better is a higher back. I'm comparing them to the vintage chairs I had, which went up to my mid-shoulder blade; these only go up to about the middle of my back. STILL: I would have bought these anyway because they were within my budget and a huge improvement over the cracked and busted chairs that were spilling old filling everywhere.Highly recommend!

They are beautiful, just like I remembered. Very well made. The legs and back tubes were nicely welded. Very strong. Waiting for my retro table with boomerang red glacier mica top. The price was very reasonable. Only problem was, they delivered them early and we were not there to take delivery. The chairs were left out in front of my house. Unfortunately, it rained before we got there. But they were easily wiped dry and clean.

Very high quality, goes very well with our vintage 1950's formica table.

Have a 50"s basement and needed 4 chairs to go with a table we already had these were perfect made well sturdy and very nicely made great deal.

These chairs were packaged perfectly and are far more solid than I anticipated. I love the look, the solid construction, and the price of these retro chairs! Can't waitor my black and white floor to be installed and for my walls to be painted!

Such a great deal for some really great chairs! Each chair is very sturdy, no rattling of loose hardware. As other reviews have said, the back cushion sits low on your back but it is still very comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase.

The chairs are first rate. The only neg is people were smaller back in the day, so making the chairs a little bigger would be better.

It's worth spending more to get a decent product. I recommend this chair even though others are cheaper
