American DJ H20 LED Powered Water and Fire Effect Light

A very unexpected and quirky x-mas gift. Was a big hit. One of the local restaurants has one projecting on their wall and I asked about it. Found it here on Amazon. ( where else? ) Works great, just a described. Right now it is focused just above the x-mas tree on the ceiling and looks wild. Once the tree comes down, we will experiment with other places to use it. We also tried it focused upward and out the front window onto our all white porch ceiling. It lit up our porch like a kaleidoscope. Very cool. Love giving unusual gifts like this. And I can see where it would add a great "coolness" factor for professional use.

Arrived when promised in perfect condition. Good value for the price. Works beautifully. Love that it is LED, so it operates without getting hot. Used it as a special effect in our KIDS church. Needed something we could install in a place it would not be easy to get to later and it could work and last a long time, behind a window. Love that we could plug it into a specially wired outlet hooked to a switch and easily turn it off when not in use without having to get directly to the unit. Just what we needed. The effect is pretty spectacular too.

Does a nice job lighting a room and does everything it promises to. Two of these lights working together look really nice and create interesting effects depending on color rotation, sync, distance, and angle. These lights have some weight to them and will need to be mounted on stands or to a wall. You will be seriously limited in your placement if you just sit them on a bookshelf but in fairness they look cool like that too. I would have given these guys a 5 out of 5 but I can already hear some slight noise as the color / effects wheels turn. Not a problem in a live music situation but if you're looking for a zen room maybe so.

This looks just as cool in real life as it does in the videos. If I had any complaint it would be that the color switching, at least on mine, was at first a little clunky and not as smooth as in the videos. That could be due to the unit being new or user error somehow though, as either refocusing or switching the lens seemed to fix the problem, which brings me to the next point. The lens inside the unit is a 30-something degree lens (pretty narrow). To put in the wider lens, you have to do some dicey juggling with lenses that you don't want to scratch or smudge combined with a "lens retaining pin" that you have to torque into place. I was legitimately afraid I was going to break something while switching lenses, and it's not something you'd want to do if you're physically disabled (as I am), as it requires quite a bit of force combined with the fact that you're trying to wedge it in against the lens while trying not to damage it.However that's a very minor problem, and I was able to switch lenses successfully, so I'm giving this a 5. I own a few different "special effect" lights now, and this one is really awesome just as a light. I have it behind me now as I type, and my shadow on the wall is surrounded by blue ripples. Pretty freakin' cool :)

Looks nothing like water & is not bright at all!

I bought this is to bring together an underwater theme for my studio. Man, it is breathtakingly beautiful. The water effect is genuine and realistic; the flow rate is smooth and medium speed. Changing colors is easy as they just cycle through (not a true gradient, so half one color and half another has little overlap), but I just keep it on cyan for my purposes. The area of effect is medium to large. I shine mine at an angle so it stretches across more area, and the distortion doesn't ruin the water effect at all. Since there's a direction to the flow, I angled it towards the entry doorway and it feels like a current is drawing you in from the entry. Highly recommend.

Really cool effect, mystifying almost. But has a weak light. It comes with two lens, I think 30 degrees and 60 degrees. The 30 degree lens makes the light bright, but the image is projected in a small area. 20 feet away you get an 5 foot area of lighting effect. 60 degrees broadcasts a much bigger area, but the light is so weak that it's hard to see the special effect. Almost wasteful. For the price I paid i expect better. I DO NOT recommend this item to my family and friends.

Really fun light! Bought it for a party and have used it many times since. We set it up to shine upwards onto the ceiling behind my buddies bar, we point it up into a tree during a backyard party and made the leaves look as if they were on fire.Funny story, one night at a house on the river, we pointed the light up the backside of the house and turned on the fire setting. 20 minutes later the fire department showed up in force. Turns out the guy across the river thought our house was on fire and called them. Good thing the fire and police thought it was hilarious....The unit is built very well with sturdy components as all of the American DJ line is.

Really nice box, very robust and well made!The effect is really good, needs to be clear of peoples heads so it can do its job properly, either pointing onto the ceiling or onto the floor. Nice and bright and the effect looks good.

haben die "Wasser-LED" mal in nem Café zum Brunchen gesehen. Da mein Freund ein absoluter Licht-Fanatiker ist, war er natürlich sofort Feuer und Flamme... Die LED ist sehr zu empfehlen, machen sie selbst jetzt nach 2 Jahren noch fast täglich an. Lediglich ein ganz leises Brummen ist zu hören, da man aber meist sowieso Musik oder TV im Hintergrund laufen hat stört es mich nicht. Meine Freundin war auch hellauf begeistert, hat es auch ihrem Freund geschenkt und auch sie sind weiter sehr begeistert. Macht ein sehr schönes Licht und eine schöne Atmosphäre. Werden immer wieder vom Besuch drauf angesprochen

Es handelt sich um einen sehr schönen Wasserprojektor mit 5 Farben plus Weiß. Allerdings handelt es sich bei der Prokjektion um Wabenmuster. Wirkliche Wassereffekte projezieren die Modelle von Eurolite da schon eher.Der Preis von über 500 Euro eines gewissen Händlers ist übrigens Wucher, da der Wasserprojektor regulär bei Amazon und bei anderen Shops etwa 120 Euro kostet. Lasst euch also nicht verarschen.

envoi très rapide. Effet d'eau vraiment sympa. À utiliser dans une petite salle ou en prendre 2. C'est dommage qu'on ne puisse pas le gérer avec une télécommande. Mais pour les prix ça va.
