This spray does help with taming frizzy hair. It's not my favorite spray, but the bottle is large, and it does work decently well.

I have very curly thin strand long hair, not coarse, and, I almost never"style" my hair. I am a wash and wear type gal. I shampooed and conditioned my hair, as usual, but I did not use any other product during my painful combout because I wanted to see how this product worked. So when my hair dried it was more dry and "brillowie" (coarser feeling) becasue I did not use a detangler type product during wet comb out. I sprayed on this product, which kind of acted like a light hairspray/hold, and the end result was as it dried... Kinkier but not frizzier. (I actually kind of liked that for a change.) Usually I use product that leaves my hair in more ringlets than tight kinks, but there are frizzies and clumps mixed in, and that is only getting worse as I get older! I think this would have kept my hair in this hold for the day, but since it was nighttime, and I get knots in my hair in bed if I don't put it up, I braided my hair in one ponytail, to keep until the next time that I wash it. Any volume disappeared, and now, second day, my hair is pretty much flat against my head, as if I was not wearing any product. As far as shine goes, when it was poofed out after drying, I really did not notice much shine, but then I only lightly misted this product just to give it a little hold. Bottom line... I would use this as a hairspray, to keep in place a finished style/look.

I bought this product since I did not find the product I regularly use and love, but this one gives very little shine. Also, if you use it after you do your hair, it tends to ruin your hairdo by pushing down the part you spray on. My current product, which is presently unavailable, gave me perfect shine without spoiling my hairdo. Even though this is more expensive, it does not work well at all. This is a great hair product. I love the smell of it, it eliminates the frizz, it makes my hair feel very soft and smooth, and is very affordable for this size bottle. However, it does not at any shine. Like, at all. That's the whole basis of it's advertisement, so I have to take a star off for that. It's really a great hair product, just the marketing is wrong. Maybe they could add something else to it that really does make it shine. Otherwise, change the name and just advertise that it makes your hair smooth and silky. Still, a very nice hair product. I would have given it five stars if my expectation was not for it to add shine. I have had products that really shined up my hair before, but I think it was a silicone-based spray.

My hair is a constant source of irritation. It's naturally curly and it frizzes at the drop of a hat. I thought this product might help with that, so I requested it from Vine and here we are. This review is for: SHINE BRIGHT by HAI - Finishing Shine Spray for Improved Bounce and Glow.What I like about it most is the smell. It's wonderful. I also like the fact that this is a touchable spray. The Redkin and other brands of hairspray I have on hand are sticky. It's nearly impossible to go two days without washing when I use those. Not so with this one. I am able to spray it in the morning, wear it all day and overnight, and then restyle my hair the next morning with no problem. The water where I live has a lot of minerals in it that are damaging to my hair and my stylist says it's best to go a longer time between washes. This definitely helps me to go two days.What I don't like, or what I'm disappointed by, is that it doesn't really create any additional shine. Being that SHINE is the first word used in the product's name, I expected some shine. I didn't get it. I will continue to use what I have and then decide if the "touchable-ness" is enough on its own for me to purchase this product again. The price IS reasonable and the scent is so lovely; combined, that might be enough.

I love the scent of this hair spray and it gives my hair a nice, shiny finish. It doesn't weigh my hair down or make it look greasy. Just a light sheen that helps combat my frizz.
