This is cheaply made the rods a plastic and break easy. I thought they telescoped but instead 3 flemise plastic rods attach together. great idea but need to have aluminum rods

I can improvise on how I want this to sit, so I can see it while backing up. My wife and I camp a lot- she's usually busy getting things ready for the drive, while I take care of the outside-stuff, like hitching up. Once you back up and get used to using this item, it's pretty easy.

The poles are unstable and move too much. They rock to the point that they are not useful for the designed purpose.

Does a pretty good job of getting you in the range. The hinge tip is fairly fragile though. And figuring out where to mount them can be a bit awkward. Stronger magnets would give more placement options.

Excellent buy, saves the bumper on the truck....

Broke on first use

Broke first I used it.

Not substantial; broke in two places the first (only and last) time we tried to use. Unfortunately, we purchased in anticipation of trailer trip that was delayed and thus are now past the "eligible for return" date (by one day). Flimsy rods cracked almost immediately. Magnetic base is difficult to place on hitch ball or couple. Would not recommend.
