An intricate look at the ever changing hierarchal scheme that keeps the wheels of major cities moving. When tension rises over minor details and how they can implicate characters in the greater decisions of their lives, we wait to see whether the characters will accept the status quo being upheld or will change the course of their lives by taking matters into their own hands.

it is still an amazing read. I highly recommend it
Witty, hilarious, and genius, this play is not something to forget. Jesse Eisenberg has really outdone himself in writing this play, mixing together hilarity with just enough seriousness to make a truly captivating play. The characters are very genuine and real, and while the play doesn't really end up anywhere, it is still an amazing read. I highly recommend it.

Laughter
Sometimes there are bizarre stories, even though the author will make the reader laugh his/her head off.

Memorably bad
I saw the play in NY. What a self-indulgent portrait of, yes, a self-indulgent creep. We were forced to sit through the same nasty story of coprophagia twice! Dull and disgusting, juvenile profundity.A waste of a stage.

a swear word in every single line
i have really enjoyed his other plays for their down-to-earth writing and characters. this one? not so much, every other word from Ben - the main character - is (no kidding) a cuss/explative word. there really wasn't a need for it and was very difficult to read this. it starts from basically the first sentence of the play and carries on. how is that quality writing? throwing out a cuss word every line? if that's your thing... enjoy it. but the story gets lost in that poor writing and it's hard to enjoy. it must be awful to listen to on stage.

definitely worth your time, even just a laugh
the book is quite thin, will be perfect to read during the journey, it will make you forget where you are by the time you arrive haha.I read Jesse's novel Bream gives me hiccup before this. You can see Jesse's vague image in both of the book. But the Play is definitely a complete well-organized brilliant story.they kept mentioning millennial during the interview, I guess millennial is always associated with less manner, cynical, hysteria and spoiled. thought the main character is "cursing all the time" like some commented, you found him is also sincere, kindhearted, vulnerable like many of us.

il libro di "quello di The Social Network"
Commedia scritta da Jesse Eisenberg, il mio attore preferito (sì esatto quello di The Social Network).Scritta bene con uno humour molto british anche se lui è americano.Unico difetto è che è dannatamente breve.

One of a kind tragecomedy with real problems and amazing characters
A stunningly writen play with character who aren't only breathing but also uniquely created. You can't help but have empathy for them and be so attracted to their true personalities.
