Vornado MD1-0002 Replacement Humidifier Wick (2-Pack),White

I thought something was wrong with my humidifier this year, and I found out the wicks I was purchasing on Amazon are not the same. The top box and serial number are this product. It is over 1” thick. The bottom box and serial number is almotst 2/8 thinner, and cost less. That was the reason my humidifier on low wasn’t producing as much humidity. This product in the colorful box is a bit more, but it is a better value. They did not arrive in the colorful box,and are packaged in the same plain cardboard box as the ones that cost less, but trust me there is a difference. I’m just trying to inform the consumer here. So you want serial #MD1-0002BBSMUA

I love these filters. I stock up when they are on sale...like right now. I have two of the evap 3 machines. Have had them for five years. The water I put into my machines is that I use water from my Brita container...poured into 1 gallon jugs (way cheaper than gallons of distilled water). Then I add a capful of the Best Air bacteriostatic into the Brita water jugs. Every day...I just flip the filters so the filters are rotated to keep moisture on them. And I can use the filters for about 2 1/2 months. Works for me. Hope this is helpful.

I use this to humidify my large bedroom and master bath. Not large enough for a whole house as advertised which isn't unusual for most stand alone whole house humidifiers. Buy a larger unit than you think you need, it's easy to dial back the humidity but if there's not enough output for your space it's useless. It works great. I love it because: the first humidifier/wick I ordered was defective and the company stood behind their product and sent a replacement ASAP with extra filters! I like it because it takes 2 days before I fill it again. It's very quiet. I like that the tanks do not have caps and washers - it's just the patented tank that magically works. The motor is on TOP and a tray is on the bottom so if there are problems the water doesn't spill/leak even when I move the unit. It is easy to clean and maintain. Very light when empty of water. Excellent product. Be sure the wicks are soft when you use them or the unit will not put out humidity. I have a small humidity gauge in my bedroom to check. This unit doesn't show the percentage of humidity it is putting out (it uses dials) - I didn't want digital controls because my cat plays and turns digital controls off and on to feel wind in his whiskers.

I've had my Vornado humidifier for years and absolutely love it. The filters are a different story. I find them to be inconsistent from order to order...the ones I bought in 2020 were excellent, the ones I got this year are a little thicker than in previous years and seem to slow the amount of moisture put out into the air. I've used the knock off brands as well...big mistake...they only absorbed water halfway up the filter! The Vornado filters at least always work! BTW, filters are meant to capture dirt and imperfections in the water, so they should be a bit of a mess after use. I'll usually give the filter a gentle vinegar soak after 6 weeks if it's especially dirty which extends the life by about a month, but it's not like new. With 2 vinegar baths the filter loses its structural integrity and is useless. These aren't perfect, but my Vornado humidifier is easily the best I've had, so I accept that the filters could be better.

these are the true Vornado filters. Highly recommend this Seller, fast shipping.

I bought a pair of Vornado humidifiers MANY years ago. Every year I get new wicks for them because our well water is full of calciuml After a winter's heating season, the wicks are hard and can't be used any more. The vornado hunidifier makes our lives MUCH easier in the winter, and it provides the most cost effective way to reduce the terrivle dryness in the house during the winter.

Fit perfectly in my tornado humidifier

Expensive for what they are and the need to be replaced every month or two.

冬になると必須になります。ワンコにゃんこが多数いるため、フィルターに毛が溜まり交換頻度は高いですが、機能的に気に入ってるので必需品と割り切って使用してます。

I bought a Vornado Humidifier and a spare pack of Wick Filters. When one set of wicks gets crusted, I use the second set and clean the dirty one with vinegar. Works perfectly for me.

Estos filtros son muy buenos, quizá el pequeño problema es que vienen ligeramente grandes para mi humidificador son embargo no es nada que no se pueda solucionar

Good replacement part
