I am a physical Therapist who works with primarily babies. I love this toy for hands and knees time. It gives them something to play with but does not take away the support the need to hold that position. This water mat is a great size and can also be used for 6 month olds when they are working on sitting balance. Great product and highly recommend.

I was weary that products like this would leak all over the house but after weeks it has not. The cap for the water fill hole is very secure. The only thing is to make sure put in a little vinegar per the instructions to prevent mold/mildew inside. I didn't the first time and some formed. Also the plastic can be a little cold indoors for a baby to lay on. Otherwise, a good product at a fair price.

Besides tummy time, my baby daughter enjoys playing with this water mat as she can try to bite this as her teether but she will never able to bite it. Meanwhile, I use this to teach her different animals on the mat. My other child also learn about different dinosaurs from the water mat. Worth to have one of this!

It took a couple of weeks for my 5 month old to find any interest in this mat. Now that he's almost 6 months, he loves it! After unboxing, there was a plastic-like smell but it went away the next day after airing it outside. It's also great for my baby during warm days, he loves to lay on it and it keeps him cool. This mat is sturdy and so far no leaks!

Bright colorful patterns. Keeps baby’s attention. He enjoys that the soft animals move when he pushes on water so he keeps trying to grab them. My toddler has also found this entertaining and plays with it as well squishing the shapes around.

Pro: Playmat is made of a nice thick material that doesn't leak. Easy to wipe down the outside. My baby loves looking at the bright colors and watching as the water moves. Definitely helps motivate her to do tummy time.Con: Very hard to clean the inside. I placed a few drops of vinegar in with the water as I had read on some recommendations but even still the water ended up with a clear "booger" like slime all in the water after a few days which then was almost impossible to get out due to the small hole.

Got this for my grandson's "tummy time." He's only 2 months old, so we can't put him right on it yet, but he has seen it and loves looking at all the animals. Can't wait to see him reaching for the floating ones.

I bought this a couple months ago and it still smells like chemical/plastic. I thought I had bad wiring somewhere in my living room or my infant swing power cord was getting hot. Nope, it’s just the tummy time mat. Baby hasn’t even used it because it stinks too much. Great concept, and I’m sure my baby would love it. I just don’t feel comfortable because the chemical smell is still stinking up half my living room.
