“Why do you do that? You enrage me one minute then melt me the next.”
Holy Crap Lee ... I need the next book like NOW ... I don't think I can wait !!!I can't really put into words how much i love this author. I am so glad i came across Dominic a book I won't lie i bought strictly because the cover was hot ... but this author her writing ... I LOVE IT!!"I don't like people Aideen. Ever. I sometimes can't stand to be around my brothers, but I want to be around you all the time. Do you understand that? I want to be around you. I need you, babydoll. You keep me sane, by driving me insane."Kane Slater ... known as "the enforcer", the tough one, the scary one, is marred with scars from his past both inside and out. People are scared of Kane simply by looking at him. He is the brooding type, keeps to himself, he's quiet, has a don't mess with me aura about him which of course tends to scare or intimidate most ... everyone. Except for Aideen, she refuses to let him intimidate her, she won't back down and tells him exactly like it is.Kane has long since given up hope of a romantic life, never thought he would have children, a wife, the family most people desire. But when he meets Aideen things change for him in more ways than one. He trusts Aideen, wants to spend time with her, and despite his rough, scary exterior he can be a gentle soul. He lets Aideen in to his life, into his heart and for once in his life he's no longer running from the darkness that consumes him. Aideen gets to see the real Kane, the one he hides from the world.“You’re free from those evil people. Your past doesn’t make you who you are. All the horrible things you were forced to do doesn’t reflect your character. You know you’re a good man, and so does everyone else.”Kane and Aideen have a love-hate relationship. They love to hate each other, and one day with Nico's help Kane understands why he fights with Aideen so much and how he really feels. Their chemistry is seriously HOT, and the bickering in between makes it all the hotter ... as they like to say it's their "fore-play".“I’m glad we’re getting along better.” I snorted,“We fought over baby names yesterday and I threw a cup at you.”“That’s true,” Kane nodded, “but we spoke five hours later which is way quicker than usual.” When he put it like that, we sounded so weird.“You’re right, that’s major progress,” I said, sarcasm dripping from every word. Kane shook his head.“That’s just me and you, Aideen.”“Yeah,” I chuckled.“Me and you.”With Kane's less than stellar past, the Slater baby boom coming, enemies resurfacing, Kane's medical condition finally revealed, secrets revealed about the brothers past, attempts on the life of one of the girls, and so much more this book kept me on my toes the entire way through it.I love this series, I can't get enough!! The way that these brothers come together to face anything head on, the way that they all of the women were friends before they met the brothers, the bond and closeness I feel when i read these books makes me giddy and I can't wait for the next installment.

A really fun read!
Please read my full review at http://camisbookaddiction.blogspot.com/2015/06/review-kane-slater-brothers-3-by-la.htmlWe learned a little bit about Kane in the previous books, but we generally knew very little about him. I only ever knew that he was a tough guy in the whole scene with Marco and he was thus covered in scars. He may have been the bad boy, but he still seemed like a gentle and kind soul, even from the little information that we got from the previous books. I really loved getting to know him in this book. It picked up right where Keela left off, continuing with the girl's adventure with the pregnancy tests and Kane's collapse in the grocery store. We learned about his collapse and why it happened, and we got to see his and Aideen's relationship grow right from the beginning. I knew a little bit about Aideen because she has been present, at least a little bit, in all of the books so far. She is a sassy thing, and I really loved her. Even though the entire book was written from Aideen's point of view, I felt like a good job was done in also presenting information about Kane.I really liked the dynamic between Kane and Aideen. I loved how they bickered and argued, and then how they finally were able to admit their attraction to each other. There was a lot of conflict and resolution in this book. There's the obvious trouble of Kane collapsing and them finally discovering what his illness is and the challenges to overcome it. Then there are troubles from Kane's past that come to haunt him. I like how everything came together with these troubles - I never felt like they came out of nowhere or were just there for the same of having conflict. It ends on a mini cliffhanger - in that some things are resolved, but other things are not. This obviously gives us some talking points for Aideen's novella. I wish I could talk through the things that weren't involved, but by mentioned them I would totally give away so much about the book that I don't want to spoil. As usual, all of the brothers and their girls have presence in this book. I love them all, and it's interesting to see how their relationships are going. I felt that quite a bit was built up between Ryder and Branna, so I'm excited for Ryder's book to see how that plays out. I have my suspicious, but who knows. I also liked the introduction to Aideen's family (all of her brothers), and while they had small roles in this book, they still brought a lot of entertainment.Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I felt like it moved quickly, but there was never a time where I felt like things were moving too slow or too fast. There was never a time where I felt like conflict was thrown in for no reason.I've really come to love the Slater Brothers series, and I honestly can't wait for Aideen's novella, as well as the rest of the books in the series!!

Great read
OMG I absolutely loved this book, I loved the whole story line of Kane and Aideen and how the pair can't stand to be near each other without fighting. But how even with that, they Still end up experiencing one incredible night together whilst Aideen went out with an Ex.Resulting in Baby Slater being conceived !YAY!As the two try to sort their lives out and come to agreement that they will try to be civil to one another the Pair grow extremely close through their love off physical attraction aka tries to constantly hurt him. Giving us some hot and steamy moments with laugh out loud situations and you guessed it a bit of verbal and physical violence. Good times in the Slater Household. But when a sinister face from the past comes back for Kane the two will be pushed to breaking point and when the situation becomes dire, who better to have in your corner than a scarred but handsome tank of a Man.Such an enjoyable book and can't wait to read the next....

I liked it
I read Dominic when it first came out. Then, with so many other books, this series kind of faded away from my mind. I saw a spoiler for book two, at one point, and decided to skip it and go with this one.I'd be lying if I said I remembered Kane from his brother's book. But I did get to know him in this one. Like all Slater guys, he's possessive and protective. Overly so.Aideen is the girl he likes to spar with. He acts like he hates her, she acts like she hates him. But with him falling ill, she's the only person to talk some sense into him. There's another factor here too but it's a spoiler, so I'm not going to tell. They get closer and closer, until the inevitable happens, but with Kane's demons back from the past, it's a bit hard to get to that HEA they both want.I liked it though some things made me roll my eyes - the girls' behavior and attitude were highly exaggerated, OTT. So I could have done without all that, to be honest.3.5 - 4 stars.

I want a Slater!!!
This is the story of Kane and Aideen and how you should never judge a book by its cover.Kane had always been the gruff mysterious one of the Slater brothers it in truth he’s a lost soul and unknowingly looking for his other half and finds his purpose for life in the form of Aideen. They have a hate/hate relationship and the sexual tension between the two is forever there. After Kane collapses and they learn he’s diabetic she’s the only one she trusts to help him through it and help him with his medication. They both try to fight it but the feelings they evoke in each other confuses them both until it leads to an explosive shared night. Kane wants Aideen as his but she’s determined it’s a one night stand and they are never to talk about it again although that night has unforeseen consequences that leaves them linked forever.Aideen is the only one that really sees Kane and as much as she wants to hate him she has been falling in love with him since they met but the push and pull these characters share is almost addictive. They are both on a journey of self discovery and learning how to be together. Their love and journey together made me laugh out loud so many times. But their journey is one of highs and lows and forgotten enemies of Kane’s resurface to take their revenge. Can Aideen and Kane overcome the obstacles and fear to be together. I love this series and this book is no different. It’s fast paced, there’s drama, secrets, laughs, family and lots of hotness! Flipping brilliant series.

Love this series and it only gets better with every book.I held a soft spot of kane from the start of series. He was mysterious, and intriguing. You know he played a part in the family business and you knew it was bad, but you don't expect it to be what it is.I love the love/hate relationship Kane and Aideen had.And the last couple of chapters 😳😳 holy moly. I was not expecting that little twist.Definitely recommend this book and series.Roll on Aideen book ❤️

i Love Kane
Kane is by far my favourite slater brother, don’t get me wrong, I love all of the brothers but Kane is my favourite. I think it might be because I kind of see some of myself in him,.. I don’t really don’t like people also, I have a really small social circle, anyways back to my love of Kane Slater, I love how Kane keeps to himself, he is protective of Aideen and he is also insecure with thinking that she will leave him if he opens up to her about what he has done in his past.Aideen is a sassy independent woman that loves her friends and her family with a passion! She fancies Kane but also dislikes him as he annoys the living sh*t out of her! They can’t be in a room together without arguing and wanting to slap the crap out of each other. When Kane collapses in the middle of an isle in Tesco he is taken to hospital and Aideen, the Slater brother & their girls rush to stay by his side throughout his hospital stay! They soon find out that Kane has diabetes and as soon as he finds out that he has to take insulin, he refuses as he has a real fear of being stabbed after having a rough childhood and past.Aideen soon soothes his fears and promises to give him his insulin injections, Kane agrees as although he trusts his family, he has a need for Aideen, he needs her to breathe, he can t sleep when he’s not around her and she makes him feel normal and calm. So he only wants Aideen give him his injections but on one condition,.. She takes the pregnancy test she’s been putting off taking, to which she agrees. When she takes the test she finds out that she is pregnant… with Kanes baby!I don’t want to give too much away, so read this book and find out what happens!
