Jebao SLW Wave Maker Flow Pump with Controller for Marine Reef Aquarium (SLW-10, 1065 GPH)

I've been using this powerhead in my Nuvo 20 for over a month now and it is quite powerful for providing a wide area of flow. The controller included offers variability in flow witch is crucial for proper sps health. Being cheap I expected the quality to be sub par, however it is quite durable. It's easy to use and is plug and play and works well.

Works wonderfully just wish it was a bit more powerful.

The night mode can improve. this pump will go to night mode if you turn off the lights of the room if you close the blinds if you decide to watch a movie. will be tricky to put the controller’s sensor on the right spot for it to use the tank light or any other source for it to go to sleep automatically

I bought this pump to replace another Jebao that I used in my tank for about 5 years. It works well, no issues so far. The controller is the same one from the old pump, so it was easy for me to get this one set up again. It is in a 50 gallon. Waterbox and is paired with a Maxspect jump gyre.

The wide flow pattern these provide is just horrible. Maybe for a smaller and I mean "smaller" tank, like 10-15 gallons possibly. But my setup, using 2 not a chance. Even at full blast the tank looked like it had no flow. This is in a 30x20x20 with a return pump pushing 900-1000GPH back up to the tank. Swapped these out for a single cross-flow and couldn't be happier. If considering a smaller pump to push flow look at there other models. UPDATE: Tried using this in my drain section of the sump and after 3 months has completely failed. Started making noise as if it was out of balance and now just seizes up. Absolute JUNK

I ordered a SLW10 for my JBJ 45 and although it worked good and got about 1/2" of wave movement, I ended up returning and getting a SLW 20 just to get a little more power. But the SLW 10 is really a great power head, quiet, smooth and would be great on a smaller tank. I also was surprised that the WiLe worked with a much older Jebao pump flawlessly. For the money I have not seen a better pump, but time only tell how it really holds up. But so far I love this thing.

If you manage to get a working pump, they're fantastic value for the money! I am still trying to get a working pump that will last more than a month!
