(1 Skein) Lion Brand Yarn Homespun Bulky Yarn, Hepplewhite

Lion brand yarn is a staple in my home. I have used homespun for a number of years now and have never been disappointed with the results. It lends an old time look and a feel of roving to any project you choose to undertake. It doesn't crochet very well but knitting is always the better choice because of the nature of the yarn. It combines very well with other yarns which makes it easier to knit up. The fact that you are required to use larger sized needle, makes any project go much quicker, giving you greater satisfaction when you see your project getting done faster. I really like this yarn, but my only reserve is the way it works up. It takes a bit more care not to split stitches when knitting. Other than this, I highly recommend this yarn for those woolly looking projects that look so rusticly beautiful anywhere you want an old fashioned touch.

The yarn is very soft and pretty, and the price from the seller was excellent. I was using it mostly in pom poms to make the coat of a crocheted Bichon Frise for my mother, and it worked very well.

I was not pleased with this product. But I believe it is my fault for not knowing what "hepple" means.

I made a baby blanket for my youngest with this yarn and it came out beautifully. I plan on making more blankets with this yarn very soon.

Love this yarn. It is so soft, but easy to work with. Shipping was super fast, and price was good.
