Very pleased looks great and works well

I've had the clock for a few weeks now and have it propped up on the mantlepiece. It looks very nice and keeps time accurately but, and this is only a minor point, it is not completely silent. I can hear the tick and even though it is not obnoxious or intrusive, it IS there. Personally, I quite like the sound of the clock ticking so I am not bothered at all, but if you want a completely silent mechanism, be advised, there is a slight ticking sound...All in all, I'm very satisfied with this purchase - but why only 4 stars and not 5?The price point. I mean, it's a clock. It hangs on a wall (or props up in my case!) and keeps time.Yes, it does the job. Yes, it looks great and is big and clear to read. However, there are other variants of a similar design which keep time and suchlike too...Maybe around the £25 mark, I would give it a glowing 5 out of 5... but at £50? I just have the feeling there should be more to it for the additional £25 - or that it *should* be silent as noted in the description.To be completely clear - the ticking is not intrusive at all. It's more background than anything else, but it IS there.Anyway, it's a minor niggle and I will end by saying that it looks great, does the job, and is big and easy to read at a glance.

So, this clock is properly gorgeous. The black frame and antique gold hands look beautiful. It would be a solid five star rating if it weren't for a couple of niggles: 1) it's not silent, like the description says. It does tick. However, so did the old ratty-looking clock its replacing, and you only notice the noise if the room is totaly silent. My dog playing with her dog toy juuuust drowns out the ticking.2) it doesn't hang straight. We weren't willing to sink a rawl plug and a screw to put this in the wall - it's so light that a nail with a big head does the job just fine. But the clock's centre of balance is such that it's hanging eeeever so slightly squint. Not enough for us to send it back - but we'll have to make some adjustments to it (not sure what yet) to make it hang straight.

This clock was just like the picture which was appreciated as we had ordered, from another supplier, another seemingly identical clock whose hands turned out to be almost completely black. Quickly and easily installed in our dining room. Almost completely silent although this feature wasn't particularly a requirement for us.

Love it, looks so much more expensive compared to what we paid. It’s quiet too a big bonus & fits perfectly in our space.

Looks great on the wall. Came supplied with a wall hanger, looks like brushed antique gold, but is also trendy too. Very quiet clock, but not totally silent, lightweight and elegant.Only criticism is the hands are a bit fragile, but as long as its handled with care when hung its no problem at all.I think it's a little overpriced, but it really does look very nice in my room.

Ordered for my kitchen to go on a wall which was bare. Well it isn’t any more it has this fantastic clock on it . It’s big and that’s what I wanted and so easy to read the time.

Really pleased with my purchase, looks great on my wall .
