ECCOMen's Track II Low GORE-TEX waterproof outdoor hiking shoe

I'm on my second pair of theses shoes and the first pair lasted me 15 years so I guess I will not be to harsh for the fact that the soles gave out first, but the uppers were ready for another 15! Yes I wish the manufacturer would do something about those hollow soles that crumble at the edges and fall apart in time, a material flaw actually, but, reasonable life span and such comfortable shoes I bought another pair. Well designed and beautifully made.

These shoes have great cushion support for comfort and all day wearability.

bought these for working in a commercial kitchen/restaurant and delivering food orders in adverse/wet conditions. non-slip and waterproof. Comfort isn't has great as some reviews claim, but they're okay, and my feet aren't sore at end of day/shift. Doesn't fit too tight at toes, but fits better towards rear. Cushioning of sole is okay. I guess there's enough arch support. They're marketed as a hiking shoe, which I have yet to use them as, but I did buy them also for that reason, so I suppose someday I'd like to add a follow-up. The brown is a nice color, but a black option might be also desirable, considering that's a requirement in many work places/applications.

Solid, rugged shoe for all-day use. I'm a 250 lb. guy who has to stand all day for work, and I wear custom orthotics. My first pair lasted three years, and my second lasted four. Waterproof is a bonus, IMO.

Even if I got invited to Balls or other formal affairs, I wouldn't go, because I wouldn't be able to wear useful, practical shoes like these. I have a dressier pair of Eccos, but wearing them in wet weather and on the ragged streets will mess them up. These are a long-term investment that work - I absolutely love them. I would recommend them to anyone who needs sturdy shoes, but just be careful about how you choose the size.

I have received this new pair of Ecco's and I am hoping for the best. I have had other models of Ecco shoes and always been very happy with them. This pair of Ecco's is replacing a previous pair that failed, dramatically. Basically the soles separated from the bottom of the shoes when I went to wear them. I had barely worn the previous pair and liked them. When I recently got in a situation where I needed them (basically for outside gardening and landscaping) the shoes failed and separated entirely. Because I needed shoes like these, I ordered a new pair and I wrote Ecco about a replacement for the failed pair. In the meantime, reading reviews I found that catastrophic failure of the soles, with complete separation from the shoe, has been a common problem with these shoes. My two biggest concerns are 1) that they have solved this problem current batches, and 2) that Ecco did not even return my message or concern let alone offer to replace the failed pair. The lack of corporate response and customer service is a major concern in considering any Ecco shoes in the future. I have previously been a loyal customer with many purchases from Ecco.This is an update.The shoes purchased recently through Amazon have been great. No problems so far. After I wrote the above review, I had a second pair of Ecco Track 25 shoes, in this case the high top) fail in the same way, a catastrophic failure of the soles of both shoes. I wrote Ecco again and quickly received a response. Ecco asked me to send back the failed pairs of shoes and provided shipping labels for the returns. Today, I received credit for replacement shoes that covered the cost of both replacements. I could have chosen different shoes, but I am very happy with the fit, comfort, and support of the Ecco Track 25 low and high top shoes. I could not have asked for better customer support, and I trust that they have saved the problem of sole failures. In any case, I now know that Ecco stands behind it product.

I like this style and color, I wear shoes all season,good leathers and comfortable.

The price. It's pricey and looks like ECCO has been sticked to their high end prices

These are the greatest pair of shoes I've ever bought. No other pair I've bought has lasted this long or been this comfortable. If you take good care of them they will easily last two years. Nothing beats leather in terms of beauty, resilience and comfort. Contrary to synthetic materials, it will only gain in beauty as it ages. And the price of these is really a bargain.

Der Schuh ist sehr komfortabel und federt recht gut ab. Er lässt den Fuß atmen und hält Regen draußen. Außerdem kann man ihn über Jahre, auch bei täglichem Gebrauch, mit normaler Schuhcreme pflegen und optisch neuwertig halten. Er fällt eher eine halbe bis eine Schuhgröße größer aus. Leider halten nach meinem Eindruck, die Sohlen nicht mehr so lange durch wie früher, sondern nutzen sogar Vergleichsweise schnell ab. Wer die Schuhe täglich trägt und mehr als 10 km pro Tag darauf unterwegs ist, könnte nach 6 Monaten bereits zum Schuster laufen und neu besohlen lassen müssen. Das ist das einzige Manko, was bei dem Preis nicht sein sollte, allerdings lohnt das Besohlen, da der Rest des Schuhs sehr standfest ist.

Llevo muchos años comprando zapatos de piel ECCO y todavía no me he decepcionado. Sientes una excelente calidad cuando tomas los zapatos en tus manos. La horma del zapato se adapta a mi pie, hay que seleccionar la talla. Ya conozco mi talla en la línea ECCO, así que hago el pedido sin miedo.
