Brightly Woven: The Graphic Novel

The concepts behind this graphic novel are good, but I felt like it was too short and plot points were missing, we are introduced to a problem that isn't solved (which I understand is to bring readers back for more, but I didn't feel like I wanted to come back for more). The world building is nice and I liked the ideas about magic and the but if mystery behind syd, but overall a bit disappointed. I feel like if this has been a regular novel instead of a graphic one I may have enjoyed it more. Artwork is beautiful though.

I really love the color pallet that was used in this graphic novel. The story is of a wizard who happens upon a gifted young weaver.

Brightly Woven was one of the first YA books that I read and I was obsessed with it as a teenager. It’s amazing to come back and reread it as a graphic novel. The art was bright, colorful, and just so much fun. Highly recommend for any middle grade or younger YA readers.

She has read this at least 15 times of more. She was so happy to get it for Christmas.

This was a cute story. Somewhat predictable. I am curious to read the original as I felt like I was constantly missing something, like more character development and more plot. The story seemed a bit rushed.

Great book! Enjoyed the colors and style. The story is amazing, a fairytale come to life. Enjoyed this book thoroughly!
