This product is being used in home for connecting a phantom microphone amplifier being used to measure a room's acoustics for the purpose of EQ'g multiple subwoofers.I consider this to be a well made, budget minded patch cord best used in a home where normal home based care is going be given this product. This patch cord does not have the look feel of a professional grade patch cord one can layout on a sound stage and forget about. To me, this patch cord doesn't have that type of commercial grade feel; ruggedness. If one were to use it on a commercial sound stage, beware, expectedly it might not handle the abuse but if for a weekend show, one were to throw caution to the wind, I'm sure it would do just fine.Over all, if used in the home, this cable has the look/feel of a product that would do just dandy in our home based theater environment. My concern, how many times can this patch cord be run over by the wheels of heavy packing cases or repeatedly tripped on before in line static occurs due to normal, interior line breakage?With home use in mind, the connections are tight, pressed, snap-on connector covers as opposed to heavy duty molded fittings. When checking the connections, I find them to be uniformly tight and without flaws. But in this case, not being molded, a cable can be pulled out of the casing when someone trips on the darn thing. There's no reason to believe this will happen but one must concern themselves with this type possibility if using this product professionally on a sound stage.Overall, considering the delivered price of approximately $0.50/ft, this is a screaming good deal I feel comfortable recommending. I'm using this cable to interconnect the two main speakers for my sound system. Therefore, any noise in the cable would be significantly amplified to the audience. The cable and connections are absolutely quiet. The connectors are very sturdy and fit snugly into the speakers. Based on the quality of construction and the performance, the price can't be beat. I have purchased several GLS cables from Orange County Speaker in the past and have always been completely satisfied.

These work great but do tangle quite easily

I needed the 50ft patch chords for a karaoke dance I was the dj for. Because of our setup, I needed to run the cords from the speakers, up to the ceiling, and back down to the table where may laptop sat. The company was super responsive to questions. Their prices are low, and the quality of the cords is excellent - I had no trouble with the signal to the speakers..
