Melissa & Doug Horse Corral Fence

Sturdy, I love that it folds compactly and doesn’t come in a bunch of pieces you have to put together. I also love that it’s actual wood. It’s long enough you can make 1 large corral area or 2 small ones. We use it with Schleich animals and a Battat barn, the kids love it!

A great fence for play horses! We use the Schleich animals and I found that the fences are just slightly big for them height-wise, but I told my kids that meant the horses couldn't escape. :) The only thing I might add is some sort of latch with an eye hook or velcro because they were concerned about the horses getting out, but otherwise this is a breeze to set-up, clean-up, and large enough for a lot of horses to graze! I have to agree with another reviewer: this is so much easier than the plastic fencing which tends to fall over/come apart. We'll buy more of these!

Purchased as a fence for my kids wooden barn. It folds up perfectly! Has held up through a lot of playing as well as dropping etc. I’m very pleased with this purchase and the $10 price tag was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend for anyone needing a good fence for their little farmers!

Our kiddos have a million Schleich type animals and needed a corral to go with their barn. This fence is quality made, has held up to two enthusiastic five-year-olds, and is a great add on for lots of different play sets (Lincoln logs, doll houses, etc). This is PERFECT for that; however, I am very sensitive to smell, and for some reason it reeks to me! I don't see a finish on it, so I'm not sure what it is, but I have left it outside for nearly a month and it is still very noticeable. Just a PSA for sensitive to smell folks.

LOVE THESE! They fold like accordions, so they are easy to set up, take down, and store. They are also made of real wood (of course, Melissa and Doug), and are really quite big. We purchased two, one for each kid, and they love to play individually or join the two together and make a huge corral. Would definitely recommend these.

we got this last year for my son who loves horses. it makes whatever set he uses bigger and more fun. i would recommend this as an addition to any animal set

As is typical of Melissa & Doug products, the corral fence is made well and feels high quality. It makes a large corral and folds up nicely for storage. I hoped that my students could use this to make a few different pens for our farm set as well. It is possible to make a couple of pens, but they aren't square and, since all pieces are attached, there's not any flexibility in the set up. I would still buy this for the quality and price.

This is a good quality fence for pretend play. I bought it for the kids farm animals and barn set and it works great. However they have been playing with the fence alone, as they can make lots of other structures with it, like an a-frame cabin, and more. I am pleased they have found so much creativity with this little fence.
