Painless Learning Canada Map Placemat, 12 x 17 1/2 inches

Very useful especially now, with all political unrest. It shows the user the places of unrest on the map.

I used these placemats for educational purposes, not as placemats! However, I have wiped them off, bent them a lot when trying to get them out of their storage spot, and can speak to their durability, as the seal around the edges is tight. I use them to study World geography to help with my online Worldle and Globle games!! They are extremely helpful; you just grab one, rather than sifting through maps or going online all the time. They are very detailed and have a scale, also, to approximate distances. When my grandsons age a bit, I will put them on the table for placemats. I now own 5 of these, each a different region.

It’s always a risk to order something that doesn’t have a lot of reviews. I love it— very clear and durable! This passes the teacher and homeschool mom approval!

Every time i pass the map i point to it blindly and i'm learning where all the countries in Europe are by doing this.What country did i point to and what are the surrounding countries? It's a good way to learn.

This is probably the best $5 I've spent recently. The colors pop well and the writing is very legible. It's also very sturdy. The lamination is perfect, seeing as I was going to laminate it anyways. I'm wanting to hang this up in my Spanish classroom. I love that you can flip it over and almost quiz yourself as the back is blank. My only complaint is it's smaller than I expected. A lot of the mat is the ocean and not the actual continent. I understand that the size is stated online, I just completely overlooked it and that's my fault. Planning on making more purchases soon.

Good conversation piece for anyone into maps or locations. Laminated were tou can use at the dinner table or just lounging around in the house.

I actually memorized all the counties of Africa using this simple device. It's a place mat in your face every time you sit down to eat. It inspired me to google a little about each country, enough to follow news of the day and understand how the countries came to be. And to maintain my knowlege, I just review a section of the map at every meal. Get it and get a handle on the second largest continent on the planet. It's also durable and easy to clean.
