SQ Non-Flammable Brake Parts Cleaners,12 Pack, 19 OZ per can

I decided to try this chlorinated version of brake parts cleaner .Been using the non chlorinated for years . it is non flammable so I don't have the fire risk .Since it is less volatile it has more time to work before it evaporates , while it still dries pretty quickly . I found that I had plenty of time to use a scrub brush on heavy grease , but have not when I use the non chlorinated .So that seems to make it better than any engine degreasers I have ever tried . I guess the issue is that this stuff is worse for the environment because of the chlorine content . I do wonder all things considered , which is less harmful for the environment . I will have to Google that to see what I can learn . Let the chemists make the call .

Great price. Super fast shipping; I was taken aback by how quickly this arrived. Chlorinated brake cleaning solvent does a better job cleaning than the "I'm saving the planet" non-chlorinated versions. This chlorinated version is also non-flammable, and generally doesn't harm paint or plastics. The main solvent in the others is acetone, which is what's in nail polish remover...that gives you some idea of what it does to painted surfaces.

This brake cleaner is so much better than the garbage that is sold in California. Not sure why - probably because California sucks the life out of everything including brake cleaner. Anyway it actually works good and you should get it by the case while you still can.

I buy a case or two of these a year for my personal shop. Good quality brake clean in large cans. Once in a while there isn't quite enough propellant to completely empty the liquid but that isn't often.

This chlorinated is slower to evaporate than non-chlorinated and is a good parts cleaner for baked on grease. However, it does not evaporate rapidly like non-chlorinated, so it sticks on the surface for many hours. Its a great parts cleaner but not something for rapid evaporation like the inside areas of carburetors.

I really like this brake cleaner. Made in USA in the free state of Florida. I like the Chlorinated because it seems to be stronger cleaning power and I use the crap out of it so I buy it by the case.

Every can runs out of pressurized gas before it runs out of cleaner. You end up with a partial can of cleaner that you hold upside-down to get the cleaner out.
