My "name brand" Porter Cable charger crapped out on me after a couple years...but honestly with not much use. It stopped charging the batteries. Looked for a replacement that cost less and was maybe better...this one got great reviews and wasn't priced bad...well...it is definitely worth the cost. It charged all three of my 20v Porter Cable batteries and did so quicker than the original charger. Side by side, other than markings, this one and the PC one are identical so I'd say it's safe to assume that they are from the same factory. But for some reason...maybe a little newer internals or redesigned...not sure...but the off brand one in charging the three dead as a door nail batteries...did it in probably half the time. I'm happy now that I have my tools up and running again. If you need a new charger or looking for a second one...so far this one is great. Just hope it holds up for a while.

A low power needing quick battery charger

Not bad, I think it charges faster than the original one I have.

This anticipated charger was ordered with a quick delivery as I needed to use my Porter Cable tools. Charger arrived in an opened box. Once I plugged it in I could never get it to read any of my chargers. Now I am tasked with a return for a refund. What a waste of my time. Completely discusted.

I have Porter Cable 20v tools and this charger works well with the PC batteries.

Well to start off I had lost or misplaced my oem charger, was looking for a replacement that wouldn't break the bank. Well this is it. I needed a charger for the 20volt batteries that I have. I have several of the larger 5.0ah and this charger handles them well, still getting a quick charge and no over heating very pleased with it, good replacement.
