1949 French Desktop Globe with Stand

The product is pretty, I kept it because it is exactly what I wanted for the area in my vintage themed room, and I couldn't find anything quite like it that would fit the space I had to fill. However, it is unusable in the state it will arrive to you. The globe absolutely will not, in any way, fit on to the stand without significant filing on your behalf. You must file down the attachment. I was genuinely surprised that they wouldn't fit together. It does not come with any paperwork and I thought there must be a trick I was missing, because surely they would check before shipping that the item was actually able to be assembled. It is somewhat akin to not checking and sending two left shoes! So I emailed the seller and never heard one peep back from them to even acknowledge my email. Therefore, I would not recommend purchasing anything from this seller.

Horrendous quality: tripod is very rickety and unstable, latitude lines do not even come close to linning up, looks as if someone put the sticker on blindfolded, and worst of all the globe was so far offf from being able to fit on the stand it was laughable. Took over an hour of filing down for it to fit.
