I took a chance with little reviews to go on and I have mixed emotions about this purchase. I have pretty big hermit crabs, id day XL. But the white shells are massive! Biggest I’ve even seen for hermits and I’ve ordered many shells. I don’t even think mine will grow into them. The green shells are perfect and what I was expecting. I also expected them to all be the same size. I’d say the green are large and the white are XXL-3XL. They fill my entire palm. All the shells are on the thinner side compared to other shells I’ve ordered but that’s okay. None arrived broken or have any cracks which was good. For $15 I can only use the 3 green ones so I don’t think that was worth it. If the white were the same size and useable it would be a great value. Or if you have massive massive hermit crabs they would be great for you.

Ordered these in a panic since one of our hermit crabs molted and wouldn't accept the other shells in the tank. Finding large enough shells at the local pet stores is nearly impossible. Unfortunately it was his time to go even after introducing these shells.Our other crab moved right in not 2 days later though. Loves his new house, and still continues trying to tip over his pirate ship. I can only assume this is a years long continued attempt at escape.He'll escape the tank one day. God help us all.

Package arrived on time and in perfect condition. The shells are a decent size and look nice. The opening is large. For some reason my hermit crab isn't interested so for now it's just a decoration. Picture is for size comparison.

The shells were smaller than I expected, more on the 2-2.5" side. Which was disappointing as I needed larger shells and the reviews had me think they were big. They also are snail shells (as advertised) so they are thin and light, which might not be bad but crabs typically prefer weighty shells. Other than that I got 6 shells, good color, only one seems like it had any chipping and it seems to be old not from the process of shipping, so no problems with the seller. Know what you're getting.

These are sturdy beautiful big shells. My hermies like to hide under them lol. They will crawl under and hang out in the shell but they are still too small to actually use them as their home.

I ordered these shells to paint and decorate as gifts. So far I painted 2 of them and embellished them with rhinestones and crystals. The gift recipient was thrilled. I see more shells in my future.

They are clean and with no damage. They are super huge and would probably only work for a gigantic crab! I just put them in the crabitat and the crabs like to climb on them and push them around.

It is in the description that the shells are" hand picked" yet 2 out of 3 shells have holes in them.....not going to work as a hermit crab shell. Not going to bother with the whole return thing. Very disappointed.used the light to show just how many holes are in the shells. The size is perfect. Just can't use them for the purpose I bought them for.😢
