Q: what is temperature range black star can be app.

Q: What is the optimal temperature at which a Rust Converter should be applied A: Rust Converter should be applied when the air and surface temperature is between 50 and 100 degrees F. Do not apply in direct sunlight or in very damp conditions.

Q: Does this product have to be rinsed after applying before painted?

Good Question! Black Star converts all your rust into an inert black polymer resin(kinda like a hard plastic) that can be used as a primer for painting. Overspray that does not come into contact with rust will dry to a waxy film that should be washed off before top coating. However, if you're not repainting surface then you can leave the unconverted overspray on and the environment(rain, snow, wind) will cause it to degrade away. Q: Is it effective on radiators?

If its made of steel and its rust it should work, most automotive radiators are not made of steel as far as I know, probably made of brass, copper or aluminum, (that's "corrosion" most likely not rust) I don't know about a "in the home type" old fashioned cast iron heat radiator though, but if its truly rust that you have I feel it should work just fine.

Q: Can this be top coated with oil based enamel paint?
