Ryobi P507 One+ 18V Lithium Ion Cordless 6 1/2 Inch 4,700 RPM Circular Saw w/ Blade (Battery Not Included, Power Tool Only)

Bought as a gift for my husband based on a hint. My husband loves it - plenty of power and big ennough blade to do what he needs it to do - plus it's relatively lightweight and cordless. Makes cutting anywhere a breeze. The only downside of this product is it does require the larger battery or you don't get much usage time. My husband didn't realize this when he hinted for it and told me he wouldn't need a battery because he already has multiples. So if you don't already have the larger battery do yourself a favor and purchase the saw with the battery instead of separately as I did.

This is the first circular saw I've ever owned. I used this model at my brother's house for a project and liked it. I recently bought a Ryobi drill and impact driver so I decided to get the circular saw for myself too. I used it last week to cut lumber for a roof for a porch I built. This saw with the 6.5" blade can cut on the 2x dimension in one pass. On 4x4 posts I had to cut from one side, rotate the post around, and cut from the other side to finish the cut. I used a Swanson speed square as a straight edge to guide the saw and this worked great.The saw feels solid yet easy to use one handed for me. I am left handed. I used it both right and left handed without any problems. I had one battery in it and never ran out during 5 hours and cuts in 2x4, 2x6, 1x4, and 4x4 for a decent size roof with posts and rafters and such.Highly recommended. I'm really glad I bought this and can easily tackle more projects with confidence.

The product is amazing but is pretty small and doesn’t seem to have enough power. I took it out of the box and put a battery in it to see and it was very weak. If you are looking for something big and powerful, this is not the option for you, I would recommend a corded one or a bigger option that Ryobi makes. This item is perfect to get things done around the house and do little projects.

Nice lightweight saw for a hobbiest. I was cutting 3/4 inch boards with a 2ah battery with no problems. I've also used the saw with a Kreg edge guide to prevent busting out the portable table saw for quick single cuts. I'd recommend at least a 4ah battery if you are planning on using on a jobsite.

I was hesitant at first to purchase a battery operated saw. However, I'm very impressed with this. It's very light and very easy to use. Having a couple different batteries queued up has been helpful, but I haven't had to change them very much at all during projects. Works great for long rips of plywood and other long boards.The blade is very easy to change, and it's easy to see where the blade is going to touch when cutting.

Love these Ryobi tools. they have ample power, so handy, battery life is great for the type of home projects I use them for. Will last all day, swap, recharge batteries if they need it.

I used this one for 4 hours straight making dozens of 4 foot cuts of plywood and my 6 amp hour battery was still half full in the end. This is a tool you don't want a cord.

The saw is a little smaller the the one I was using therefore a little lighter which is very good, and being cordless is a very big bonus. The instructions are very useful and I know I will use it for years to come.
