Such an easy-to-read, helpful resource!
Tackling an LMS implementation is a daunting task, whether you've done it several times before or you're doing it for the first time. Something always gets left off of a list somewhere, or is overlooked, and then you're two weeks from go-live and the fire alarm goes off. This is such a helpful resource to make sure you've thought of everything, and is much more than a typical ticking-off-boxes guide. It provides helpful templates, conversation guidance, and it incredibly easy to work through in bite-sized chunks while you're busy taking care of all of the OTHER things you have to do at work in addition to a large-scale implementation. I highly recommend this as a resource, regardless of your level of experience!

Great book for beginners
I just started a job in project management/managing a LMS system and this was a great introduction to the field, necessary steps, and had some very helpful questions and templates to activate on. I look forward to checking out the community resources that come with the book as I think that may be where I get even more value!

Very helpful and informative!
This book was extremely helpful in breaking down the process for choosing and building a LMS. I was in a brand new role and in charge selecting and implementing an LMS and was initially very overwhelmed on where to begin and what to do. This book helped me identify my goals and needs in a very structured and simplified way that set me and my team up for success.

Fun to read - Bite size steps!
The information is well thought out, with a lot of links to free resources.I found many great software recommendations as well. I like that there is space provided to jot down notes. This book should be given to all employees who are involved in the LMS decision making process, even in the midst of the implementation! It brings everyone up to speed much faster. The sprinkles of humor are right on target -- and definitely takes the edge off a daunting project. I had no idea you could have so many possible interconnections between HR. It opens up a world of possibilities for our company.

Should be named the LMS Bible!
This book is simply a must read for anyone that works with LMS! Katrina's humor and writing style brings to life the ins and outs of administering a learning management system. The book is an excellent resource and provides practical tips and what-if scenarios that one might run into when first starting out. I highly recommend this book for anyone planning on going down this seemingly dark and daunting path. Katrina's knowledge in this area very much sheds a light on what you need to know! I plan on sharing much of these tips and tricks with my own team.

Good ideas, easy read.
Back cover says it’s for beginners (I’ve been a system admin for a bit), but got many ideas from the book. Useful information chopped into short sections so it can be read in chunks. The chapter on managing an admin team was most helpful, my company has a hard time with this. Also like Chapter 3 for the software reviews and Chapter 5 since many ideas were things I hadn’t thought of. Book was easier to read than many system admin books and includes activities.
