The updates are EXPENSIVE and you must go through a reseller and good luck with that and the computer interface is also ...
BArtec is supposed to be the leader in TPMS. THe Tech 500 is not even listed on their website anymore. WHy? Because it advertised bluetooth capability and it does not work. The updates are EXPENSIVE and you must go through a reseller and good luck with that and the computer interface is also hard to navigate.If you want an expensive tool then bartec is the way to go but you will recieve only a low level of support from BARTEC they should exchange the Bartec TEch 500 for free with the latest one and hopefully the bluetooth works and the cost of updates is lower than $400.00 peryear. Contact BArtec directly and ask they how the software is updated do you need to take it to a reseller location? Send it in for update.My recommendation is to stay away from BArtec tools.
