The Kowalli Baby Carrier Cover offers unparalleled versatility, freedom, and reassurance as you sport your little one around town. Compatible with all soft carriers, slings and wraps, the Kowalli is a weather-resistant Polartec fleece shrug that deflects rain, wind, and snow. With the Kowalli you can carry baby in any position – in front, on back, facing in or out, even in hip carry, while the high-performance fabric keeps baby warm in weather ranging from 15 to 60 degrees F. The toga-style design allows baby to see out, while the wraparound flap provides additional protection from the elements. With the Kowalli there is no need to bundle baby under bulky layers, and the coverall design allows you to share body heat and stay aware of your baby's needs as you go about your day.

Worked for Baby's first Boston winter
Got this at recommendation of other mom on list serve. Used it thru winter while baby was between 6 and 10 months. Much thicker and warmer than I expected. Would wear it under my coat, which I left unzipped, or over my coat If I was worried about myself getting too cold. I live in Boston! Horrid winters! Found it was a good second layer when baby wore a polar fleece bunting. The top cinch is really easy to tighten around baby. The bottom one is a bit harder and a little fussy. The shoulder would occasionally slide off from time to time. Wish the pocket zipped so I had more comfort that my wallet or keys or phone wouldn't fall out.But overall, this is a great product. Allows mom and baby to share body heat and i appreciate the easy on/off!

Keeps baby warm!
LOVE IT!! I will give this as a baby shower gift to any good friends who become expecting mothers. I love how this vest incorporates my body heat for my baby. It's the only way I truly don't have to worry about her getting cold.A couple design flaws, that don't bother me too terribly much, but I can note them because I think they might bother some people:With the way that it goes over one shoulder only, the vest always hangs slightly crooked. It ends up looking a bit sloppy.I wish the length were a bit longer. I think when my baby gets bigger, it may not cover her feet, which mainly defeats the purpose of the vest, in my opinion. Right now, at 5 months and 15 pounds, it does cover her up fine.

A must have
A must have for baby wearing! So easy to use, perfect design for keeping baby warm in varying temperatures. Much easier than trying a blanket on the carrier. I see people struggling all the time trying to keep their baby warm while wearing them. I see cold hands and feet hanging out of a tied on blanket. Great gift!

Perfect for late fall/winter
Perfect for late fall/winter! This will really keep you and baby pretty warm. (Sometimes, I even felt too hot wearing this, but I blame this more on my clothing choice--just don't underestimate the warmth of this fleece nor of your little one snuggled against your body.) I'd recommend this for parents who walk around a lot with their babies. I live in the city and it's perfect for my lifestyle, but I wouldn't really wear this if I drove around from place to place.

My baby loves it in chilly weather and so do ...
My baby loves it in chilly weather and so do I (even if I feel a little ridiculous wearing it). It's a very cozy fleece cover to wear on long walks when you don't expect to take the baby out of the carrier frequently. We use it with an ErgoBaby carrier. Somewhat water-proof, as it is fleece, so light rain will bead up on the outside and not soak into it.

It's thick and easy to put on
It's thick and easy to put on. I've only used it for front carries so far as my baby is still pretty young.I wish I had gotten something with sleeves though as it's hard to predict what I need to be wearing myself in order not to over heat with the added warmth of baby and this cover, yet no extra warmth on my arms. I've used this with a variety of carrier types from a soft strutured carrier to a tied wrap to a ring sling.

So much to love!
Love this so much! I will admit, the price tag turned me off a bit. But after using it many times during a Maine winter with my newborn, I can confidently say this thing is a lifesaver. Its construction is both basic and intuitive. It goes on and off in a flash, no hassle at all. I used it just the other day with my nearly five month old baby in a very windy 20 degrees, and she slept soundly the whole time we were outside. Highly recommended!

Great for walking in the winter
We are on our second winter of using the Kowalli Cover and I still love it! It's perfect for a bit of protection when we are out and about. I use it a bit less this year, since the little one is walking around and wanting to explore, but when we are going on longer walks it's nice for an extra layer when he won't be keeping himself warm running around. It still works well to cover his bottom half, boots and all. I like that is cinches to keep the wind out.
