Exes and Ohs: Season 1

I had never heard of this show but found it on Amazon. The characters are likeable and the plot's are acceptable for a sit-com venue. If you are looking for something different to watch and observe life on the other side of the fence this is the series to watch.

The first show of on the DVD started off a little slow, but by the middle of the second episode, we were hooked! The more shows we watched in this DVD, the more we began to appreciate how entertaining this show really is. The writing is so well done, it is FAR better than "The L Word". We love the ironic humor in it. We've told several people about this show, and they loved it too. The DVD is so affordable, I would definitely purchase it if you haven't seen it already. I wrote to someone connected with the show to find out when season 2 was starting and they told me sometime in 2010, we can't wait!

i wanted the entire show, beginning to end, but cannot find the rest, so am enjoying the first season untl the rest comes available.

It's actually written by a lesbian. No lesbians are killed or go crazy, no straight women playing lesbians are fired, no lesbian love newbies are running to men to learn how to please women, no "bisexuals" kissing girls during sweeps before running back to their men and women who wear clothes you'd might like to wear! At last!! Something lesbians can love! Nice relatable stories and characters w/o over the top drama that makes me hate myself for watching simply because I want to see something portrayed about my community.

I love this show, I had to buy it right up. The struggles of Jen&Sam sometimes has an underlying (Can you say TiBette? Very good, indeed) "I still am in-love with you, but you have these issues that keep us so close yet so far apart" makes the show worth watching over and over again.I am (The L Word) Bette/Tina Shipper. And (Exes&Ohs) Sam/Jen Shipper, also. So, if the people behind this show is reading this? I represent a multitude of others...who just aren't writing their own reviews.

I don't know what's with the comparisons between this and the L Word like one is a poser or something. It's like saying apples are better than oranges when it's really about enjoying the fruit! I love the stories and acting in these episodes and I look forward to more. Both this and the L Word offer unique voices and perspectives and I especially love the way the characters here are neurotically charming and self deprecating. It is truly another postitive, strong LGBT voice.

The only reason i kept watching it was because it had lesbian content... other than that it's rather painful viewing. Don't understand why those other people who wrote amazon reviews loved it so much! The lead character is annoying, the script is forced, the sets ugly, the jokes ...heavy sigh. need i go on.

This Show is a great comedy about lesbians and their love lifes and i love this I can not wait to own season Two and so on. Exes and Ohs is heart warming and funny in every episode this show will not let you down. Get your girlfriends and friends case this is worth watching over and over again.

I LOVE this series. I love the characters, the storyline, the writing. One of my faves! It's a good mix of storytelling, drama, humour and really gets to the heart of the characters.
