Q: What is the length and width of the sealing surface and cushioning pad for the 24" system?

The system comes with a 27x36” pad+cushion, but custom lengths, 36” wide, are available.

Q: Why is this not recommended for soapers?

While the system certainly is capable of wrapping soaps, the extra length of the eating surface requires a bit more effort to create seals and is a bit more unwieldy to maneuver about. The recommendation is more about the size, strength and stamina of the operator, not a limitation of the system. Another effect of this bias is that the film selection available for the 24” system is not as varied as it is for the 18” system, the one we DO recommend for soapers. - Art, National Shrinkwrap
