FPV Panel/Patch High Gain 5.8 GHz Video/Audio Receiver Antenna for Long Range

I fly a Phantom 2 with the AVL58 system and the Black Pearl Diversity monitor. Once my Phantom gets about 500m the diversity monitor switches to the best signal which is this little bad boy. I get a whopping 1000m clear signal on my monitor! NOTE: You have to keep the flat panel perpendicular to the location of your transmitter/Phantom. It's a small note, not an inconvenience. That's the way this antenna was designed to work. The square panel focuses its long range attention to the specific area it's facing. while securely mounted It's turnable and bends to 90 degrees to point straight up if need be. For the price this just can't be beat.

Not nearly as good as the cloverleaf antennas. This may be ok if used with a diversity receiver but on the Fat shark goggles it is not good at all.

Meh. Not that much better than my Omnis, but certainly no worse.

Not much better than a normal dipole. It does improve the radiation pattern to be more directional, but I noticed no significant range improvements using this vs. the stock duck antenna.

Significantly improves signal reception on a monitor as long as you can easily orient it to point at the video transmitter.Note that this is a female or pinless SMA connector. Check your monitor's connector to make sure it has a pin sticking out of it or the antenna will be worse than nothing for you.

Be sure the the connection on your receiver fits into the female end of this product or you will not get a solid antenna connection.

The patch antenna really gives me clear video, without any lines. It only gives me about a quarter mile more distance.

Works pretty good. Not magic but does the job!
